In kenya where I went for safari and new years with my wife from the international, to local cafe ,to the art shops they quote everything in dollar before their Kenya shillings first .
We were planning to board a flight from nairobi to Mombasa the luggage we carried was overweight ,and was charged $50 I told my wife I want to make the payments so she doesnt use her credit card the lady at the counter refused and said they dont collect anyother money other the dollar or kenyan shillings.
