The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted Nigeria’s break up in 2035 if President Bola Tinubu fails to restructure the country.

Primate Ayodele said Biafra activist, Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho would have no hands in Nigeria’s break up.

Addressing journalists on Friday in Lagos, the cleric said the break up will happen naturally because citizens would be tired of staying together.

According to Ayodele: “We must be very watchful because Nigeria will break up in 2035, only God will stop it.

“If this government fails to restructure Nigeria, the country will break up.

“Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho will have no hands in Nigeria’s break up, the country will break up naturally.

“People will get tired of staying together and they will ask for a referendum that will make it to happen.”

The date of Nigeria's breakup is always being pushed forward.

Fact is, Nigeria is going to exist in 2123, because at the end, most people benefit more from a united Nigeria than a disunited Nigeria.

Biafra is a pipe dream. No, it is, and it is because eastern minorites are still annoyed with the Igbos. Most minority tribes are invested more in one Nigeria than in division, where they would be at the mercy of the big tribes , as it was before the British came. Hausas and Yorubas too, as well as Fulanis. Even the Igbo elite.

Yes, no one likes the idea of one Nigeria. But it is unfortunately the least bad of a large set of bad options.

The problem with Nigeria is that we are trying to run a supposedly large economy on a tiny financial base that is decimated by corruption and stealing, which everyone does. And we don't want to do industries because it means a long period of suffering, and that's not what independence was sold to us as...no, independence meant more kudy in our pocket.
