We plan to have our wedding in February so he can come and as I have achieved some form of stability here. We hope to do the wedding in a week and have him apply ASAP. I went through the application and they are asking to prove cohabitation for 2 years? Will this be an issue in the application? I don’t want to give the impression that it is a sham marriage. We have about 6875 pages of chats, several pictures as we have been together since 2018. Only issue is cohabitation

Similar case to mine. However, we informed them that we have NOT been living together for the past two years. And we were told to prove it. Used our offer letters (hers based in the UK, mine based outside the UK)

I assume you selected the option that you have been cohabiting. You will have to prove it.

Any option you choose (living together or not living together), you will have to prove it.

Proof of relationship is where you will all the pictures, chats, screenshots of calls etc, including wedding certificates. For the two years my wife and I dated before we got married, we only saw each other for a few days. Just all the documents needed and you'll be fine.

Applied a day after registry/court wedding (on Sunday, wedding was Saturday), biometrics on Thursday of that week, visa came out Thursday of the next week (3 working days).

My wife's COS will be ready in December And we plan to travel to the uk together. We plan to submit our application in January or February. We hope to get a response from the embassy same month. Will the new rules of not bring dependent affect us even if we enter after April so far our visa was issued before the effective date.

No as long as yoy got your visa before policy changes your existing application won't be affected even after april. Just like student who got in the uk September 2022 can still bring their dependant by January but those who apply by January won't be able to

It's quite frustrating with UKVI causing delays for everyone, including universities processing Certificates of Sponsorship (COS). My university applied for my COS on November 3rd, and so far, there's been no word from UKVI, according to our HR. I'm hoping that those who had their employers apply for COS in November have received a response, so I can feel more at ease. I just hope I won't regret turning down other research offers for the UK. Frustrating situation.

It is not a letter.
It is a court order, a court document stating the court’s decision that you have SOLE RESPONSIBILITY.

Don't know about this. I booked a flight ticket on the Turkish Airlines website and didn't see this notice. I don't know why Wakanow has it. However, I am flying from Cotonou. I know someone who traveled last year from Abuja to London and didn't need any transit visa.

I suggest you Turkish Airlines.

Also, read somewhere that if you are not leaving the airport, you don't need a transit visa.

I came in last month with Turkish Airline from Abuja.. I didn’t see anything like transit visa when I bought mine from Wakanow

I currently have 2 offers from two different trusts and both are willing to offer sponsorship. I just got COS from one of the trust but I prefare the offer from the other trust because of the benefits attached to it…. I’m currently waiting for the other COS

We choose diaspora in the option, so the requirement to go to the police headquarters should not be there hopefully. We are yet to make the payment cos I want to know if everything can be done online.

A policeman wants to do it for 100k while the official rate is 30k, hence my question

Let her do an affidavit (Change of name) and news paper publication. You will need the news paper publication page.

Optionally, I think you can submit with the different names.
