If an American who is also a German (dual citizen) is conferred with an award in Berlin, no one in America will talk about his German citizenship, rather his achievement.

Nigerians had been offered British citizenship in the time past on arrival at Heathrow which they proudly declined. It was a respectful thing to be a Nigerian then.

Instead for many here to appreciate and acknowledge the hard work behind Davido's achievement, they are laser focused on his American citizenship as if it is the automatic pathway to success. Don't forget there are still lot of homeless American citizens.
