1. Is there a law that states that "If the main applicant hasn't spent up to 6 months on their course in the UK, they must add the school fees balance to the living expenses of the incoming dependents on their Proof of Funds"

2. Does the new law on restrictions on dependents coming in from January affect the dependents of main applicants already in the UK ? Whose dependents are still in 9ja.

Application submitted since 8th September. I have had 2 interviews. 4 paid calls. 5 escalation mails. Today is the 3rd month ( 81working days) my application has been with them. I keep getting response mail as If I just submitted my application. Saying application has been received. At this point I have sent a mail for them to return my port . I'm not interested in the study visa. I have valid visas in that port and I am being restricted from other travels as my port hasn't been returned. Pls is there a phone number or mail I can actually send my issue to and get a proper response? It is clear that all those mails av been receiving are just copy and paste mails with no information on what or where my port is.

How long does it take to make a decision on an application. NB. I was last in uk in 2015 on a biz visa.

Anyone else having this issue?

Please follow these steps :If you applied outside the UK, sign in to your using the link from your email. Go to ‘Section 6: further actions’ to cancel your application.

That will get the ball rolling

What days do the company you work for operate? That will determine what the working week is

Best bet is to ask the HR officer

My wife is the MA, our daughter’s application was just applied for last month October 10th. I called on Monday, and I was told decision has been made but there’s no collection email.

Before Monday, I had to escalate once before Monday when I was told a decision has been made. No refusal email yet, and there’s no refund.

I called yesterday trying to escalate it again but I was told to wait till the first escalation reaches 15 days.

Good evening everyone. Please a friend of mine needs an advice. He has an ission for MBA in Canada and an ission for Social Work in the UK. He tried getting an ission to Social Work in Canada but couldn’t so he eventually opted for an MBA. He is in his late thirties. He prefers Canada as a destination because the immigration pathway to PR is shorter and more stable. However, he prefers Masters in Social Work because it has better prospects for career and jobs and he is also better suited for it. His only concern about the UK is the immigration pathway otherwise what he really wants is Social Work. And his major concern with the MBA is getting a good job after graduating since the MBA is not from one of the top business schools in Canada. So guys, what will you advice? MBA in a low rated university in Canada or MSW in UK? If he chooses UK, will he be able to get a job as a social worker in Canada after graduating in UK?

They flag it up when information is requested by HO

HMRC has access to your employment and tax details and can deduce the hours worked
