Well is been long time have been here after my refuse last year November but just apply last month again
But my ? Is those we did it together then that was refused re apply and was granted less than two month due to second time application fast I don’t know why this is still taking time
Any one facing such challenges second time applicant

I carefully noticed this kind of issued using same POF for PA Student and later used it for swop don't usually fly, or better SOWP should show more fund in his/her bank statement to the POF

Do you mean I should add more money to the ? or should I use another ?

There are two ways to go about it.

1) Either you use a different pof for your own SOWP application after your spouse study visa has been earlier approved

Or

2) Use same pof but proof that same you are showing (steadily 4months or above) can cater for both the already study visa approved applicant and you the SOWP applicant. This is what I did in my case. I used excel template to do budget cost for both applicant and show them how my pof is enough. Not doing is inviting refusal base on financial incapacity.

Though while I was applying, I could not compress all my ing documents into 4MB under clients’ information so I divided it into 2 segments; my own ing documents, I ed them inside clients’ information and my wife’s documents that was used as ing documents inside international port segment with a ‘table of content’ in client information segment that emphasized BOLDLY that my wife’s ing documents was in international port segment.
Now with this…any advice on what can be done differently

How long the application before refusal came? If you still have the proof of fund I will advise you to re-shoot with same documents, and try to merge, compress the documents to fit under 4mb.
Note: Make sure your spouse Student documents should be in client information

You should have used a resizer app. Seems this visa officers have no joy these days.

What are the student information of your wife did you attach? Does it include LoA (where the school DLI is captured) , port Page Stamp, Enrollment Letter, Student permit, SIN, School fees payment.

You can show POF in your name by submit your bank or add some funds in existing bank statement

I still have the proof of fund though it was 28m naira I used (12m as a fixed deposit and 16m as a normal deposit both on my name but had removed 6m from the 16m naira to remain 10m. Hope it can still fly like that??

Submission on the 30th of Aug. 2023. Biometrics on the 21st of September, 2023 and refusal today, Nov 1st, 2023.

If that proof of fund can still fly, my problem will now be ‘how to compress on the documents into one single file under clients information.

Don’t know about resizer app until now.
I submitted all these documents u mentioned though under international port segment as I earlier mentioned.

I am thinking too along that line of merging all the documents together but with what application cos they are very big.

How big is it?

I think Adobe website can resize to a very small size without losing quality. For instance if you have a size of 10mb, you can still get the smallest size of about 3mb.

I don't expect you would have excessively big size that can't be reduced.

To use Adobe, search Google with Compress pdf. You will find Adobe among the options. If you don't have an , you nay not be able to . So create a free with them.

NB: Features are limited per day. Usually a compression per day until another day.

You could be denied for any flimsy excuse, including not following their instruction. When in doubt, always ask questions. What you wrote on the table of content shows you are in doubt, and you just made the officer's job easy.

Work on your SOP, explain details how you made every single lump sum you may have in ur and state clearly what will definitely bring u back home make it clear. Examples, tangible business u own, family, organization possible that needs ur service and more just about anything important that tie you back home. GOOD LUCK

You should be more concern about how to proof your spouse is a full time student and not if you are qualified under IMP.

The splitting you did may have been the reason for the refusal. Probably the visa officer made the decison based on the information in the applicant's segment and didn't bother searching for the other part.
I advise that you compress and reapply.

Thank you very much! I am more concern about that but you should know when issue like that happens, many people with diverse opinions. But through my consultations, I’ve realized that it’s the split that caused it.

Do a legal document of land transfer to you from your late father as inheritance. Do the current evaluation and ensure value is in millions.

Get your church or professional association to give you letter of recommendation as an active and productive member.

Write other things you relish in Nigeria that you can never get in Canada like our rich multi-tribal culture, food, weather, family orientation etc and most importantly your job or biz. You can open an emergency business name to show you run a biz in Nigeria too.

Not putting all the information in a place. There is a file they expect all those information to be and the poster (don't know if it's you) explained that it was splitted because of size constraints. That's what I guess it's been referenced here.

Please who has SOWP timeline of late August. I applied Aug 28th, medical ed 1st Sept. and since two months plus it has been on Background Check.

After many mails and web forms pleading for intervention I just got informed by IRCC agents on call that BG is completed and Eligibility is pending (ongoing) which is yet to reflect on my portal. How many more days do I wait as I have already booked my flight for 13th November. The financial implication of changing to a near date (over 500k) is really killing.

Anyone knows what Qatar air charges for flight cancelation for a refund?

Then, why do you guys buy tickets from wakanow when you can purchase tickets directly from the airlines? Purchase your tickets using the airlines' websites.
