Mine expired last month and i've tried to apply for a replacement but don't yet have the NIN number. I ed for it in Nigeria last year and i collected the slip. Truth be told, i'm sincerely not looking forward to that dreadful journey to the High Commission in London. The thought of that place alone sends shivers down my spine but you've gotta what you gotta do.

I've got a British port so the return trip shouldn't be an issue.

Your NIN should be on the slip that you collected after registration. That’s all you need.

Currently on this with PayPal Credit, although I didn’t withdraw but I made a large purchase and zero impact to my credit score because I pay over the minimum balance every month. This is how credit card companies make their money. The guy should just make sure say he pays up every month and keep his utilisation of that card really low, like perhaps £5 monthly so that he can clear out his depts fast atleast within 3 - 5 months. He may not have to withdraw with PayPal, he can even call the school and give them his card details so that they can take the money.

Bros, better pay that £1400 from the balance N2m wen left before exchange rate chop am for your hand. Royal Mail, Sainsbury, Tesco all de employ for holiday jobs, just walk into any of the Sainsburys (the big ones) and Tecos Extras and ask to see their shift manager ...work de and you will earn enuf to clear the balance. All the best

I'm in a dilemma regarding my tuition and will need your advice please.

I'm in the last semester of my master's and have about £2500 outstanding. The problem is I've been changing naira to pounds to pay to this stage since Form A became unreliable. I'm left with the hope of 2m which is just around £1400 at the current black market rate.

I've told the school that I'm working on it but they won't stop sending reminders. With the look of things I can't pay up until I finish and resume full time employment. I once sent them an email explaining the situation of things how the sudden FX hike has almost tripled the fee from the anticipated amount.

I don't know if anyone else is having or has had the same experience. How are you going about it please? I'll appreciate any advice I can get as the frequent emails and threat of potential withdrawal from the school has started affecting my wellbeing. I don't like being in debt. It makes me worry and lose concentration. Thanks

There's a code you can use to get your NIN number.
As long as you still have access to the phone number you used to . Hopefully you're roaming the line that way you can still send ussd code.

You can also check your bank through Internet banking. That's how I found my NIN number (how they linked I don't know cos I didn't give the bank)

u can retrieve your nin. Do you have the nigerian sim you used to ? If yes, it costs 20 naira. Check the internet for the ussd code.

Yea i tried that yesterday morning but got stuck at the point where they wanted to send a code to my Nigerian phone number. Unfortunately i no longer have access to that sim.

As for internet banking, i had a feeling that would be the case as that's how i'm able to always retrieve my BVN. It got linked to my GTB but the NIN isn't.

I have asked a friend to help me go the center i did the registration with the slip. Hopefully he is able to help me retrieve the NIN number.

Unfortunately, no. I used my old Nigerian number that i no longer have access to.
