Good day house.
I need your counsel please. I am trying to buy a few items to set up my work from home office.

Which is better between a gaming chair and an office chair?
*I tend to recline a lot and have a stiff neck and occasional back pains.

Sorry do you mean they are proposing a new change to tier 2 dependent as well?

Yes that is the word on the street, that is hardly a surprise though considering the attention COS has received recently. Could be good news to those here already.

Only for the health and care visa though:

In a further development, Home Office sources have confirmed reports that Braverman is ing plans for foreign care workers with fewer qualifications to be blocked from bringing family to the UK. She wants to tighten the rules for the health and care worker visa, which allows migrants to move to the UK to work in social care and bring dependants with them.

So what about the back seat belt hook? Where would I fit it in? I've been searching. Thanks

This woman sef... For any nation taking on permanent immigrants, (i.e with a settlement route) the best bet is to get them settled in as soon as possible so they build successful careers and don't have to rely on the state in future or have kids with poor attainment thereby increasing pockets of crime and deprivation.

So in her mind, poor carers should leave their kids and partners (which are manytimes needed to break even), come here and work for 6yrs on barely minimum wage. What happens when they are able to finally relocate their family that has been split for 6 yrs? The attendant social downsides would haunt the society years on.

If they dont want foreign carers, they should shut the route or limit total COS they allow. As a working resident, this would split families and limit the right to family life shouldn't be dependent on qualifications. This should be challengeable in court. Lets see if they advance this.

Braverman Is ready a dreamer, fewer qualification? Is that the almighty changes they are talking about? I guess more measures will be added.

From the paragraph shared , seems they are targeting health and care visas that don't have prerequisite qualifications. i.e care assistant jobs. Limiting those to no dependents allowed leaves them for single ppl, students in the UK and excludes migrant families. That answers to the political posture of reducing legal migration numbers.

Cos the CBT testing center has been investigated and found out to be complicit in fraud.
Unfortunately both those who did that test with integrity and those who didn't are affected.

What others do affects us all

Maybe they should just make the requirement to be Msc minimum

They will still do those their care jobs themselves las las grin

Need someone I can share a room with or someone who has a room but looking to share so as to split bills in London. Preference is a location that I can get to Whitechapel with just a bus / train.

💯

I wouldn't be surprised if this is why nurses from Nigeria are reportedly finding it more difficult to secure NHS roles.

Increased scrutiny and perhaps a more negative image

That will hardly stop the abuse of COS.

Thanks to everyone who has replied so far, one more question please. I didn't have to visit the UKVI centre for my biometrics when I renewed my visa last year and a couple of people I know as well used same app this year and recently as well.

However, for the kids there was no option of using online biometrics app, is this the norm? Do kids have to travel for visa biometrics within the UK?
I think children who were under 6 years of age as at the last time they applied for a visa need to go for biometrics. I'm having same issue, my 8year old was able to use the app while my 6 years old has to go to the center because she wasn't yet 6 the last time she applied and didn't have her fingerprints captured.
