Current processing times is 116days. Please apply as soon as possible. I recommend the paper route.

This would generate the required forms for you to complete. For paper application, your answer should be NO when asked if you are going to scan your documents.

You do not need medicals for a short visit. Examples of home ties are: Employment, travel history, assets, family, responsibilities etc. Please read through the pages of this thread to get more insight.

I have a visitor visa, however my port hasn't come back. I intended to leave for Canada early but the port delay is worrisome at this point. I will be 34 weeks pregnant this week. Hopefully by 36weeks I am able to travel. What do you suggest I do so they won't turn me back. I am really scared. I don't plan to declare the pregnancy. Cos I will be travelling from the UK and I can easily tell them I am On a 2 weeks holiday and probably lie about my EDD. What do you guys think please

There's no pathway but you can select YES where asked do you want to apply more than one applicant.

That is the type of port I submitted to VFS because it's still valid for 3 more years but this delay at IRCC office is getting worrisome.

When did you submit? I actually don't think it's because of no NIN. My mom submitted her port with NIN. Today makes it exactly 20days she got PPR and 19days the courier journey began. But I think it will be back this week sha. For port stamping give or take 2- 3 weeks . 2 weeks if you submitted directly to Abuja. 3 weeks or 4 if you submitted to Lagos.

They don't disclose rather they help embassy to confirm your closing balance in the statement of acct you submit if it is accurate as that suppose to reflect your financial capability

Nice insight justmovemglobal, but I think BANK can’t disclose customer balance to anyone including IRCC ? They can only work on the period of the bank statement you submitted.

there is no need to inform them since you have added it, then you have inform them already, just wait for their response and be hopeful it will turn out well

I applied for TRV in March 2020, I got a reply in Nov 2021 that I should be patient with IRCC because they haven’t started prioritizing TRV.
Now I got another email from the Nairobi visa office this July indicating that my biometric is still valid till 2030 for only TRV. The email contained my application and UCI numbers which gave me the opportunity to link my paper application to online and it was successfully linked.
After to check, my status reads in progress.
Is there anything I can do or I should just wait for the Nairobi team to finish their work? Is anyone experiencing similar stuffs for TRV Please help me with explanation. Thanks

I used courier. Got the PPR late and I had just about 7 days left . So I just decided to not bother seeking appointment and use courier instead .

Pickup time is 12-2pm, but I will advise you go very early to get first batch slot, the queue can be massive. Go with photocopy not your international port and write your tracking number on it.

Just explaining in detail how you got the money and attach necessary documents, ders no format. Don’t reserve anything until your application is approved.

Dz period there’s no affordable flight. Just check all eligible airline and compare prices or check for cheap dates probably Oct.

If the port is valid you won’t have a problem. Reach out to vfs for update on your port, you can use the live chat option on der website.
