Veteran Actor, Mr. Ibu Set To Mark 40 Years on Screen In Abuja One of Nigeria's finest comic actors, John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu is set to mark his 40th anniversary since he became an entertainment sensation in the country. The actor and comedian is considered one of Nigeria's most talented and highly paid comic characters and started his entertainment career in the early 80s. His humorous acting which has seen him feature in over 100 movies is often characterized by hilarious imbecility, and sometimes disconnection from reality. He will mark 40 years on the screen in Abuja on September 3, an event being packaged by new tomatoes Pub 'N' Grill & G29 Music Production. Expected to grace the event are top Nigerian comedians, musicians, and best best of Nollywood actors. There will be an all-star welcome party on Saturday, September 2nd, at New Tomatoes Pub 'N' Grill located in Gwarimpa Abuja, the nation's capital. The main event will be held at Blake Resort Restaurant and Lounge in Garki Abuja on Saturday, May 3.
