Why because it's more intelligent that the others, everyone here is measuring strength but did not consider intelligence as the greatest strength there is. It is same strength that has placed man as the Apex predator.

None of these animals have the ability to handle a weapon except for the gorilla, if you've watched a gorilla fight , they are smart enough and can pick up large rocks and heavy sticks to beat the others to death.

The reason man is the apex predator is not because of his strength, it is because of his brains and ability to use his limbs.

In reality, the python is the alpha predictor in that cage. Although they are all animals with immense strength, the weakest is the Gorilla, a natural herbivore though with carnies and immense strength also. In the wild, none of the 3 Mammals would take on the reptile of that size, they see it, avoid it and walk, cause its very powerful. But in a cage, the reptiles become the least agile of the 4 and all of them can take a swipe
or bite at it which may eventually kill it. But I doubt any of the other 3 would get any real upper hand over one another in a tense filled cage.

However, comparing the strength of a silverback gorilla with a grizzly bear is funny bro. it's not just about strength. Have you seen a furious bear in action before? A bear is a crude and uncultured beast. The primate nature of the gorilla supercedes his beast nature, he's intelligent enough to consider surrender to an uncontrollable beast not because he's weak but he has no claws and does not bite as the bear does. He also has vulnerable parts in his ventral surface (stomach/abdomen). There's no attack he launches on a bear that he won't come back with deep cuts. All he can do is to lift the bear which is really difficult based on size and aggression. A bear will keep attacking despite cuts till death, it's aggression is so crude and untamed.

The tendency to reason before acting is not in a bear at all. The gorilla has it more and that will make him not continue the fight.

It depends on which initiates the fight first… and from the look of things, the lion will try and fight either the gorilla or Bear and will not win a brawl against either. So, the lion will die first, leaving the bear and gorilla injured. The reason why the anaconda hasn’t been involved yet is because it hasn’t pose a threat due to its slithering nature. Whichever wins between the gorilla and the bear will have to face a fully charged anaconda… it’s tough, but I don’t see the anaconda defeating either the bear or gorilla. I say the bear comes out alive

On that same site, I also saw the below, which is a more logical assessment of the two animals. My money is on the Gorilla, though, the bears claw is a big advantage. Don't forget, the Gorilla is the smartest amongst them.

Because it's very easy to predict how everything would play out. The lion would sit by a corner and observe the other animals.

The gorilla would be the loudest in that cage, shouting and trying to attack everyone violently, in his aggression, he'll rip the anaconda apart.

Grizzly bears are not hunters therefore it's safe to say they're not as aggressive as lions and gorillas, meaning after ripping the anaconda apart, the gorilla would lunch a full scale attack on the bear.

It would definitely be a bloody fight but the gorilla would come out victorious. By this time, he's exhausted and would seriously be in need of rest, this is when the brutal Hunter (the lion) with it's killer instincts would lunch it's own attack on the gorilla's neck, the gorilla wouldn't stand a chance cos he's already exhausted. Thus making the lion the ultimate winner.

This is the video of a male lion single handedly taking down a male Buffalo more than twice its size. If a lion can take it down, it definitely should be able to take down a gorilla.

Do a quick goggle and how easy it is for a leopard to kill a gorilla. If it's so easy for a leopard to kill a gorilla, then it's super easy for a jaguar to kill it not to talk of a lion. There is no competition here, the bear comes out alive. The only chance the lion will have is if it came with its pride else if it is a one on one fight the bear will kill it easily. The bear can stand easily with its hind legs like a human plus it's slap is deadly. The last thing the lion will see is the bears huge slap landing it's face

Is this some sort of joke? Tiger is the biggest, strongest and mightiest of all felines. Tigers have always decimated lions when pitted against each other. There was an ancient that has always set gamble where Lion and Tiger is made to square up. The Tigers always defeat the lions.
