If Omoapena has a heavy foot, his gas mileage will suffer irrespective of the fact that he drives a Corolla. I'll advice him to avoid abrupt acceleration or braking and to keep his RPM below 2500. If he's still getting the same 1litre per 6km then something is wrong with the car.

You dont need a transit visa for the layover...since you have a uk visa it covers that route ....hand luggages is 5kg....but it will be checked...so pack just non perishable items in that one.....and u can still that with a laptop bag.....
