I did enjoy the movie but I couldn't help notice the insane plot armor. At a point it felt like they Nazis were trying to keep him alive rather than kill him. They seemed way to incompetent

The Nazis had like 4 clear chances to finish Korpi off but they always took the wrong decisions. Their leader kept giving the worst commands...

Dude literally just killed about 7 of your men...instead of shooting him, you decided to wait for him to finish packing the gold?
Or telling the dogs to get him when you had a clear shot at close range?

John Wick's plot armor is that he's O.P

In Sisu...the Nazis were actively trying to kill Korpi but were so incompetent.
The problem is that they had so many clear chances to kill him but always made the wrong decisions...
They know of his reputation, what he has done and seen what he can do...yet when they had him in impossible to escape situations, they made the most silly choices possible.

Even when the captured him and should have blown off his head. They chose to hang him instead.
They knew his legend and that nickname was The Immortal yet they couldn't even care to confirm his death?

If you capture someone who's is rumoured to be immortal and you want to kill him, do you just hang him on a rope to a weak pole and walk away?

You have guns, grenades, a tank etc and that's the best you can do to confirm the kill? They didn't even wait...they just walked away

in fact it would be better if they had shot him and burned his corpse but he somehow survived...that would make him look even more badàss rather than making the enemies look incompetent

No offense, you think shooting a gun under duress and getting the intended target is a game of COD or Medal of Honor were you set the aim to auto-aim or aim assist and when you shoot you hit your intended target spot on. And again, it's not as if they don't hit him, John was always on body armor, while 80% of those assassin's had no body armor, so that was an advantage to him.

My beef with those assassin's is that as an assassin you know how deadly John is and how many folks he had sent to the great beyond, yet you choose to honor a contract to kill him, isn't that plane stupidity and succidal.

Action movies aren't meant to be realistic, it's a know fact, if you think I'm lying ask the Fast and Furious franchise.

The movie was actually worth all the hype, because it sure did live up to it's predecessors and even delivered more.

Hmmm..Where do i start from? Nollywood has come a long long way. From the stables of zeb ejiro, i decided to feast my eyes on this 90s blockbuster. Well, i would say i was terrified at first as I have phobia for snakes. I watch small in the nite make i no get bad dream. The film was quite intriguing. It had some mindboggling effects. The acting was just above average for a genre of that calibre. Music, what can i say. Enya songs killed it. Dance was okay. I was thrilled . I felt the story should have been completed in one tape instead of two parts.

But John Wick can do it easily. The assassins are bloody incompetent.

The first John Wick was cool because John Wick went against the ill-trained mafias and the motive was strong. This is why I still hold the first John Wick movie in high regards.

It became ridiculous the moment they involved the so called well-trained professional assassins in subsequent movies, who are good at everything except how to assassinate their target.

It’s either they are bringing knife or sword to a gun fight or they don’t know how to shoot.

Nobody can be so deadly that numerous well-trained assassins cannot kill even at close range when surrounded. It shows how incompetent the assassins are in the first place.

Anyways, it’s just an action porn film like fast and furious movies and other martial art films, so incompetence is necessary.
