I feel the distance should have been more because there was crazy traffic the day we set out but we traveled on the express lane it shaved off a bit of time.

This is after driving for 2 hours 48 minutes+ drive. It was an extremely hot day and I ended up burning more gas than usual, no thanks to the AC. The road was almost free from Richfield forward. Had my first gas stop there. Although, my tank was half full, it was important to take a leak and top up to avoid stories that touch the heart.

It was my first time driving out of town and I can confidently say driving through the scenic mountains of Arizona was the scariest moment of my trip. The bends, twists and turns was just ridiculous and it ran for more than 4 miles. These pictures didn't exactly do justice to the bends and scary roads that run through the mountains of Arizona.

Second gas stop: Arizona. Arizona is hot mehn! Before we could refill, use the restroom and get back to the car, it was burning as hell.

I hate to it but visiting the 7 magic mountains was not necessary. I was disappointed because the whole thing looked like coloured, stacked balewas. Driving from Salt Lake City straight there was longer than driving straight to the hotel. The distance between both was about 35 minutes on a single. Vegas is an extremely hot city. EXTREMELY HOT!

We breezed past the hotel on our way to the 7 magic mountains.

We stayed at at the Strip, spefically at Trump's Hotel but seeing Encore and Wynn from a distance. I got green with envy and had almost instant regret. The edifices... Sweet Baby Jesus!

Treasure Island Hotel at night... To get around the Strip to downtown, we had to use the free parking spot of Treasure Island, walk through the casino out and tour the Strip.

Las Vegas is indeed an overwhelming city, particularly at night. The lights, glitz and glam is insane. And the traffic is unbelievable, particularly at the weekends when people troop into the city.

At the center of the Strip, if I am not mistaken.

Inside The Venetian. Most hotels in Vegas have casinos that are crazy busy. The downsides of staying in these sort of hotels is that they are extremely noise and filled with cigarette fumes. For non smokers and non gamblers. Hotels with casinos are not the hotel of choice when choosing a hotel in vegas.

I had the opportunity to go into The Venetian and The Palazzo and I can say I was lucky I didn't make the mistake of choosing either.

Baby girl bragged about how she'd enjoy the rollercoaster ride. We had to struggle through insane traffic to get to the New York-New York Hotel & Casino just to use their rollercoaster. On getting there, she chickened out because it was bigger and scarier than she imagined. And the people riding at that period didn't even help matters as they were screaming as if they had just landed in hell.

They say your Vegas experience isn't complete till you visit Freemont Street.

I used the SlotZilla Zipline in Freemont Street all in the name of dying once. I have never been more scared in the whole of my existence.

Went back to the Venetian on the second day to use their outdoor boat ride and we got serenaded by some of the sonorous voices anyone has ever heard. It was in Italian but it doesn't stop you from feeling it.

Area 15 is home to Las Vegas sci-fi-ish themed, immersive experiences. I must confess, I have never seen anything so immersive, fascinating and fun as this before.

From the hotel, one can easily see Area 15 but have no clue what goes on there.

I see L.A and the gathering and then I TUPAC Shakur being killed in a driveby shooting.

The inside of Area 15 is something right out of a futuristic sci-fi movie. It's unbelievable insane and well thought out.

Next up: Omega Mart.

Omega Mart is also inside Area 15 and at first looks like a supermarket. If you are able to go in, you'd realize it isn't at all but an immersive and interactive dummy store where every door, big or small, leads somewhere, including the refrigerators! The tickets are quite pricy but worth it in every sense. And it takes about two hours to explore the entire mart.
