Naibet won the race with a time of 2:13: 45. This is the second time Naibet is winning a marathon in Nigeria. He won the 2021 edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

I don't take Sowore seriously as a politician, given that he knows almost nothing about economics or finance, and he's unwilling to put in the years of groundwork to build up the kind of national organization that would make him a serious contender at the presidential level. That being said, I don't see how any of this is of any relevance to his participation in a marathon, especially given the near-certainty that none of you criticizing him could even complete an entire marathon run of 42km, even if you were given an entire day to do so: I'll bet most of you couldn't even run 5km in under 30 minutes if your lives depended on it!
