That's why I compare it with the Redmi 12C because that was actually a bit fairer. The RN12 4G is miles ahead.

LPDDR4x RAM is now cheap so they can use 12GB but the performance of the underlying SoC is still lagging behind.

The Redmi Note 12 6GB/128GB starts at around 900k shillings approximately $240USD.
So of course the Redmi is the much better option, end of discussion.
