those transcend shock proof enclosures always start misbehaving after a while. you start getting connection issues. yes i am talking from experience


it is also a problem with most of these no name hard drive enclosures. they are always having partial , which eventually scatters the drive MBR and you start getting format messages

if you can, i suggest you order a ugreen hard drive enclosure. they are best for when you are using a drive outside your pc in my experience
