Why is CBN just deciding to release more funds now despite knowing the hardship Nigerians have been going through. What exactly has the cash policy even achieved?

You are asking this knowing that the court overturned the policy. How can the aim of the policy have been achieved with the court bottleneck?

It is not about the court Bro.

The New money wasn't printed enough to stabilise the old cash withdrawal.

If the new monies completely replaced the old ones this scarcity would have ended in January already.

That was the point, I don't know why a lot of you don't get it. The new notes were not printed as replacement for the old ones. It was printed to withdraw the old notes from circulation so as to transition the economy into a cashless one where people do more of e-transaction for bulk sum. I still see people struggling to get 100k in cash. For what?

I think the policy was a good one but was badly implemented as they did not do enough sensitization prior to its rolling out. The banks too were lazy and did not lend their which is the reason for the hardship most of us are experiencing. Then the supreme court came with their black market judgement that essentially usurps the power of the executive.

We can confirm that the President-elect, who left Nigeria Tuesday has not been in London. He is right now in to have a deserved rest, after a hectic campaign that began in January 2022. He will go to London thereafter before proceeding to Mecca for the lesser Hajj.

“As we move towards inauguration on 29 May, 2023, Nigerians should expect more false and salacious news from a section of the Nigerian media, on the payroll of the opposition”.
Well-done sir spokesperson cheesy

The truth is that we're not ready for any cashless policy. Moreover we have more pressing needs to attend to abeg.

Did you vote for him? Direct your anger to the right source. That’s why you fools are at the bottom of all races of men. No critical thinking.

I am anti-protest, anti-IPOB/terrorism, anti-Obidient,....

Take your country back church campaign can only work in Lagos, FCT, SE and little part of SS &NC!
It will fail generally in SW,NE and NW a total of about 17 states!

Separate your politics from your anti-church stance.
True some Christians ed LP but not all. That's why people are confused by what you are saying. I am a Christian but I your right to speak ill of faith. Without people like you, faith would not be faith. But repent one day sha. Dont let universe use you for headlines one day o

As for those political Christians ...expect no change from them. Those ones are Christians by creed and not understanding.

I am ready, and I know a lot of other persons are. There can never be a better time for its implementation, else we will stay waiting forever. I learned the FG gained over 11 billion naira just last month through this policy. Imagine how much more would be made if it was fully rolled out. We try to emulate the Chinese in their economic advancement, but they use mobile payment for most of their retail transactions. See?

God forbid Peter Obi's presidency. Imagine Obi ing this evil policy so as to defeat Tinubu. It shows Obi's skull is a vacuum.

A completely ill-thought out, misplaced and badly-timed policy. A moment of pity for the millions of Nigerians who were at the receiving end of this silly experiment.

You do not transition cashless economy through that means of lesser new cash. Why didn't the old and new money run concurrently for a year like other developed countries.

It's had nothing to do with Supreme Court abeg. So if there was no supreme court judgement the issue would have been resolved immediately?

Emiefele and Buhari failed woefully because the policy was never meant to fully transition us into a cashless economy.

Some of us were saying this from day 1 that only the masses would suffer from the politically motivated monetary policy. Hope we have all seen it now. People have died and businesses have crumbled and now we are back to square 1.
