Taxation is not Rocket Science. You are ONLY taxed based on what you have EARNED with your National Insurance Number and if it meets the taxation threshold.

Example: My first 3 months in the UK was the last 3 months of the financial year and what I would earn within that period was not up to the taxation threshold (about £12,500) so I was not taxed for that period

You can't randomly go to any clinic for your tb test. You'll visit the IOM portal and book appointments and you're good to go.

I hope we all stop this rush for IOM alone. We have upto 4 different test centers alone chosen by UK in lagos. I was at iom in January and come and see crazy crowd . While I was at the children consultancy last month and people for that day was just 15 people. Less crowd and less hassle. U collect ur certificate the 2nd day. I guess the rush about these iom thingy is because u get your result the same day. That's all. Left to me. I will always pick consultant practice to iom. Within 30 to 45 minutes. Ure through with everything and come back for your result second day.

Questions like what does the birth certificate dated...while his birthday was on.....
Proof of medical records, school report / cert bearing his age.. suitable and accommodation and care for him, family photos etc...

I think those of us that used NPC birth certificate that was gotten years after the actual birth day are the ones experiencing this issue.

Lol. U sure say nah cos be that . . First time hearing a 1 year cos. Even on ukvi. It says 3 to 5 years and here ,u are talking about 1 year. Hmmn. Let's wait for the gurus to come in and share there views.

Yeah. Ure right. They've forgotten Nigeria is not like there own country wey dey issue birth cert same day ure born and this people sef no recognise hospital cert.

In case u dont know....it cost 364£ for Immigration skill charge + 199£ for the COS per year to employ you if its a small company.... and if it a large company it cost ISC of 1000£ plus 199£ for the cos .... unless u crossed for tier 4 which will still cost them 199£

They may just want to try you out, if u do well they will renew u for the new year.... if u dont have an alternative collect it and be on the look out for something new

Therr is no minimum of three years...and employer can sponsor for 6 months if they like
