Senator Shehu Sani has likened the relationship between Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike and the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, to that of a man who is trying to be nice to a lady who he jilted with the aim of still being in a good relationship with her, IGBERETV reports.

On Saturday, March 11, Wike praised Obi and described him as being the Hero of the 2023 presidential election. Wike said Obi's participation ensured that power was not retained in the North.

However, some Nigerians and ers of the Labour Party, LP, felt governor Wike worked against the interest of Obi in favour of Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election, an action Wike has denied.

In an apparent reaction to Governor Wike's comment, Senator Sani wrote,

“Wike and Peter. Is like trying to be nice in order to continue a relationship with a lady you jilted, after marrying another.”

Peter Obi did not make proper consultation across those who matter in Nigeria about his ambition.

Obi would have won SS convincingly had he build good structure in the region.

His North performance is just too poor. No effect of Datti Ahmed in the results .

Why should Wike would have worked for Peter Obi when they are not in the same party nor have any agreement of working together.

Same way you guys blamed Tinubu for GEJ lose yet the same GEJ was seen with Tinubu after INEC declared him the winner.

Wike didn't do anything wrong to Obi, he doesn't seem to have tampered with his meager votes. He made sure to deal with PDP badly though. Otherwise, he'd have given them the usual 1,000,000 votes that the REC would need more light to read.
