Because I know some persons that this re-scheduling was just their first time. So, I believe these persons can still re-schedule again right.

Good day guys, I got itted into Lamar university for start date of 17th January, 2023, I then applied for visa and was given an interview date of 8th August, 2023. I tried to reschedule all to no avail. I then deferred my ission to fall session which was granted with a start date of 17th August, 2023. I then got another mail from the embassy that my interview date has been rescheduled to 25th September, 2023. I am confused here. Please what do I do now since the embassy stated that the date for interview can not be changed.

Please who can guide someone about statement of for the US undergraduate ission for Fall 2023?

Where did Embassy quote it in the mail that the interview date can not be changed.

I sent an inquiry mail to the Graduate Program director of my program, he replied that since I have not received an offer from them, it means no faculty could offer me a TA/RA.

I actually ed professors in the department and they responded they do not have openings. It seems KSU only its you when a faculty has accepted you as their student. Well, I applied for PhD, it might be different for MS applicants.

- Salary : $$ based on 2022/24 rates, next year rates are unknown at this time but will not be lower than last year rates)
- 20 hour work week / calls this "half-time" employment
- That the funding can continue for 3 or 4 years of guarantee provided satisfactory work performance and academic performance
- Health Insurance
- Tuition Remission (less than $400 per full-time registration)

Can someone explain the Tuition Remission part?
And if I still have to present SoA.

First, you have to understand that this is really a hectic time for most schools. This is the time they feel the heat and bug from aspirants and new its alike. All the same, you can send a follow-up email by the new week. Be also sure to Cc the appropriate people who can help push your request; like your departmental secretary, Associate Dean and your grad coord.

Second, I hope your realize form i-20s are processed by the office of international services and not the grad school per se. I just wanted to be sure you aren't sending your e-mails to the wrong channel.

Third, some schools do not require that you send an e-mail at all. I know of a few schools where you do not submit your financial documents and port page via e-mail. Rather, there is an online page you them to.

What did you apply for, MS or PhD? And have you tried reaching out to your Graduate Program Director?

PhD. I applied to three schools actually. All of them are saying that they will start rolling out decisions very soon. These guys know how to reply diplomatically.

I am beginning to think that positive decisions have been sent out already.

There are many others that do not require WES evaluation. In fact, these universities will review your application with unofficial transcripts (that is a softcopy of your transcript ed during application) to make a decision. They will only request official transcripts after you have been itted.

you should apply for emergency appointment if the option is available. I think that is the best bet.

It seems you have maxed out the reschedule option and the only way out to get a closer date is to pay another visa fee.
