My Experience Today @ Alausa
I reached there around 8:30, met an officer at the gate which I gave him my slip for collection in other to allow me inside the premises, after checking the slip he said the port is not ready I should come back 3weeks so I told him I was instructed to see the PCO then he allow me to enter the premises after which I submitted my slip at the collection area.
I waited but my name was not called so I ask another officer to help me check if my port is ready he also told me that they haven't done December, I just use one mind stay oo so at around 2:30
my name was called and they gave me my port

So if you captured December 6 or 7 with 10 years ,your port is ready kindly go and collect.
I'm not sure for 5years 36 page though

- Fill out form and attach port photograph, data page of port and NIN slip of guarantor.

- Stamp at the nearest Magistrate/High Court by the Commissioner of Oaths.

Not correct!! Minors don't need guarantor's form, they don't need local government identification letter. Minos(0-17yrs) needs 2 ports photograph,port data page of one of the parents, and NIN of the other parent(where both parents don't have international ports), then consent letter to be written and signed by both parents.

I went there today but the crowd on the queue was so much so I went to the front to ask the immigration officer there (a very junior officer), he asked for my slip, checked and told me it's not ready that I should check back in 2 weeks.

Is there anyone that captured around that time and has gotten his or her port?

Have you tried tracking it, 60 percent of those immigration staff you see there no sabi book. Your port might be ready, and the mumu will just node his head and tell you anything.

Tracking shows still in production, but we all know.tracking isn't always 100% accurate.

Hi guys, strictly DIY here.

I filled my application online last week for port renewal and I was given an appointment date from the online portal. Do i need to go to immigration office at Alausa for any thing else before the appointment date or i should wait till the appointment date before going there?

pls who know where one can do change of name and newspaper publication in Abuja. I learnt that for news paper publication, it is 7k. the price is too much o. pls any body that can link me up I will appreciate. Thanks

For DIY, new port (for children between ages 6 and 11). Does one need to fill guarantor form for them?

Please note that my port and that of my husband have expired, we are just applying for renewal. However, we have our NIN.
