Hello Gurus in the house, I need help here please.

I got ission to study a one year post graduate course in one of the colleges and it's a co-op program starting September 2023.
Please I need to know what is required of me in with funds.
First I intend to pay the deposit and first semester fee by March.
I heard I'm supposed to have at least 10,000 CAD in my as POF to cover for the rest tuition and expenses over there, and then submit the statement of of 4-6 months during visa processing, I don't actually have any money in my right now. If someone pays in such lump of money into my and I submit the statement of during my study permit process, will it be convincing enough? as this is the only way I have to deposit such money into my , and the length of months for the money to be in my won't reach before my Student visa application.

Also, I intend to use a letter and statement of of my brother who is my sponsor. Can his statement of and letter alone be enough POF for me without my own bank statement?

What is the best way for me? Please, I need clarification here.

Since you're using a sponsor he/she can show commitment by
1) paying your complete tution since it's just a one year course
2) transfering your living expenses for a year which is 10000+ Cad and other miscellaneous expenses such as flight and the rest.

If the person does all this plus the letter of sponsorship and his statement showing it's not his entire savings been used(as that would be unreasonable) then you should be good to go on POF despite your previously empty balance. Then the rest is about sorting hometies and other eligibility issues such as course/career progression

You can also wait for the input of others

I submitted my application 2 and a half months now and I used an agent who for reasons unknown to me refuse to give me access to the portal so I don’t know the progress my questions are as follows:

1. My email is linked to the so if I get a final decision will it be emailed to me? Or would I have to depend on the agent to know if a decision is made.

2.If i eventually get emailed a decision will the email contain information on if it was approved or denied?

I’m really worried and will appreciate if someone can answer this question.

Don't you have face to face meetings with this agent? He can to the Portal and show you the status of your own application if he doesn't want to give you his details

That's not necessary haba! In ur SOP tell the visa officer a logical reason why you are going to come back. You can use ur family and ur job or better employment opportunities

I changed USD10k to naira at black market rate and then paid full 1 year fees using form A at cbn rates i still had 2 million to spare. Mind you the school fees was USD13k.

I should also mention that I had to pay for form A fast rack which wasn't a problem for the time i was saving.
I still changed additional 3k to naira for some other reasons sha.

But when i wanted to submit my bank statement for visa turnsout they calculate your naira balance at cbn rate, so i had more than enough for proof of funds after clearing school fees.

Plus, look there's someone on here that posted proof of funds explanation, and that's what i used. I think oloriking or something

Technically you can arrive as soon as you get your visa and enrollment from the school but they might probably ask for your balance to know if it can you for that long as you are not allowed to work before classes start.

The school doesn't care at what rate you buy your foreign currency. You are not paying them in naira but their own currency CAD. Normally you will be given a deadline to pay your deposit. If CBN Form A comes through before then, lucky you. If not you would probably have to source black market. IRCC converts your naira in statement of at official rate though

Ok, am trying to beat the medical validity date, which is 2nd of August. Please am not clear on what Enrollment from School means here, can you explain.
