Express your feelings to your maternal grandparents or a close Uncle/Aunty. You can't judge your mum for her attitude but you need to solve your problem. I know someone who got to know his dad through his grandfather. His dad was invited to his grandpas house without the knowledge of his mum initially. A close Aunt ed them to give his mum's perspective of their issue so he could explain to his son and seek his forgiveness. They're all happy about the reconciliation. @OP If you know his family name and the town he comes from, you can find out who he is. Be careful though. In places where the first son is the sole beneficiary or very important in the scheme of things, your appearance could provoke a battle. that he has other children who probably don't know of your existence. 2 Likes |
