The Labour Party has expressed delight in the turnout of party ers at the presidential campaign rally held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Wednesday.

Thousands Of ers of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi flooded the campaign rally in Ibadan to drum for the former Anambra Governor and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed.

Reacting to the mammoth crowd at the event, Labour Party, in a tweet on its official handle, claimed that such crowd had never been seen before.

The tweet reads, “@NgLabour Never seen before crowed welcomes @PeterObi to Ibadan.

“@NgLabour shock APC in the South West today to their very foundation. A new Nigeria Is Possible. Vote Labour Party. #PeterObiForPresident2023”.

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, is one of the aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP who have vowed not to work for the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar.

Although the state remains largely PDP, the governor, who believes that the Southern part of the country should produce the next president has yet to declare his for any of the presidential candidates.

Even if Obi doesn't win,I still love him but I wish he could win, he will make the new Nigeria for sure.... This is not about change, it's a new beginning. This man is not the Yoruba or aboki style of ruling, looting , caging people up and down and smiling type. Everyone is against him because they don't want to repent anytime soon. If not ,their should not be even election, they should have just put him there directly but some old man want to die in aso rock..
