The cost of transportation, food, electricity, internet, fuel, education, health care e.t.c are extremely cheap in Russia. Things are not the same in the West. Russians pay extremely lower tax compare to extremely high tax they pay in the West. So in my opinion the standard of living in Russia is not significantly different from the West.

If you are paying less for education and you are getting good education and also pay less for health care and you are getting good health care. You pay less for gas, fuel, electricity, transportation, internet e.t.c. What else can you ask for.

Western media only talk about human right issues in Russia. They also talk about Putin and the Oligarchs. I have never seen anywhere in the Western media where they say Russians are suffering. Please prove me wrong.
