Yeah it's normal there will be a time jump after the ending of season 1. This is why i said people are quick to judge.
About the wheel of Time, it's definitely worth the hype.

For people that have read the book, they might not be happy with the changes but for people that haven't seen or read the book, the show was worth the hype.
Just type the wheel of Time on Google and the articles, news and things you will see about the series shows that it was definitely worth the hype and people are really waiting for the season 2.

Yes on paper in might be a gamble but i don't think any investor out there will gamble with a billion dollars.

On the part of the actress and characters, i am saying is that because of the vastness of the series, the role Galadriel is playing is like some sort of a limited role, shows like this that are vast, it takes time for the characters to grow on us. Because most of the time, they are not shown very often.
But i don't think she is a bad actress, it's just that the role she has been given to play for most parts of the series are somehow limited but you can tell that from episode 6 and 7, her roles are beginning to play out little by little.
Even in episode 1 when she was like the main focus, you can tell people loved her but the show isn't about her, this is why i said because of the vastness of the show, it's going to take time to get acquainted with the characters.

For example, not many people were impressed with the teen Rhanery In earlier parts of the house of Dragon, but she later grew on us as from episode 3 or 4. And it was because most earlier parts of the series was focused and centred around her so the more screentime she gets, the more we get to like her.

That's not the case for the characters in the ring of power, they can literally cast three whole episodes without showing Galadriel because of the vastness of the series.

This is why i said people need to watch and with patience and perseverance, with time, we will all come to love the characters.

Actually, Amazon can afford to gamble $1bn away and feel nothing cos their pockets are almost bottomless. They and Apple are over a trillion dollars worth. So a few billion is nothing to them. You can't compare their funds with other platforms that are barely around tens or a few hundred million dollars worth.
Even movies with heavy CGI and scope like superhero or sci fi movies have never spent close to $500mn on a movie talkless of a TV show that takes way more time and complexity to make its money back. But Amazon could easily splash that sum; that tells you the scope of their lavish spending.

Unless we're watching different shows they was never a time Galadriel didn't have screen time in a single episode.
Galadriel is the main character of the show despite vast world building. So she had more time than all the characters.

You're not getting it: to know how good HOTD got its acting and characterization right: How many screen time has Aemond, the new guy gotten that ppl already loves him. Same as the kid that played him earlier.
How many episodes have we gotten for people siding adult Rhaenyra and Alicent. Even Criston Cole sef... What of Ser Harwin Strong he's also a memorable character.
If we want to use vastness as excuse, didn't you see how GOT did it. Some characters were not seen till the next season talkless of between episodes with the tons of world building going on, but there were many characters ppl loved about the show.


See ehn, there's so much side characters in HOTD that have better characterization, acting and memorability that putting RoP besides it is a joke. I can easily mention 10 characters with 10 different actors.

Let's just die the matter and hope they prepare well for next season and hopefully deliver a memorable finale. Cos if they somehow flunk this final episode, they'd have much problem even amassing viewers for the second season than backlash they currently facing.

This trailer just reminded me how bonkers Doom Patrol universe is.

Euphoria is a masterpiece show bruh.
The acting even for young adults is out of this world. When you get to S2, you'd know how unmatched that show is.
One thing I love about the show is it's unique use of music score to great effect. The show also use the music to convey the feelings of the characters.
That show and Stranger Things are one of the few reasons I'm warming up to 80-90s music.

Which huge 'milkers' are you ppl seeing. I ain't seeing something huge. It's just there, that's most likely helped by the breastplate armour.

In the meme, that picture was exactly what was shown even in the trailer. We couldn't see her chest then to differentiate if she's a male or female. So judging by that eyes or look every accepted she looked evil and guessed she might be Sauron.

Really? Not saying S2 wasn't a tad okay but it was overly dramatic for no reason and veered off too much from the central plot with so many subplots that failed to reach any meaningful end. Barbie Ferreira's arc in S1 was very interesting core subplot that failed to materialize in S2 with so little screen time that she's not even returning for S3.

I'm thinking maybe negotiations or some issue came up between Barbie and the producers.

Season 2 is a masterpiece work of art for me. Cos almost all characters were given better character development and progression. That was the main focus of that season.
We got to know the drive and personality of many of the characters instead of just knowing them from the perspective of one or two characters. We got to know their inner core.

Also the acting from the entire cast for that season was way better than anything I saw on season 1.
The premiere season was mostly carried by Zendaya's brilliance and a few cast like Jacob Elordi but S2 was all round wholesomeness amongst the entire cast.
Even Sydney Sweeney I was thinking is just a decent actress and can't act much asides from dish us breast and cry gave a very good of herself.
Her cries still dey annoying sha.
S2 for me is the better of the two.

Yeah, I watching a random episode of Vikings on DSTv back then and seeing him. E shock me. Then confirmed it when I saw his name in the cast.
I was also surprised how, even up till now, I haven't even seen traces of any online buzz about it. Maybe it's because it was a long while after his first retirement from WWE.
