Who can help me renew my port fast in lagos

Can I do a change of data on the immigration portal ? Specifically a change of name, there's a mismatch between the name on my previous portand my NIN, thus preventing me from getting a new port. I have all the necessary documentations, a sworn affidavit. Someone told me I have to go to Abuja, and pay a hefty sum. But another told me I could now use the portal. Which do I follow..?

You’ll need to go to Abuja and do it, it can only be done there, I did my own earlier this year, pls before going make sure you have a sure connect because it can take forever

I want to change my full name on my port due to family lineage. I have paid the change of data istrative fee online and have receive the acknowledge slip. I also have all the requested documents with me, so when I check the status it shows "your Payment has been received but waiting for approval" , so I asked NiS servicom when can I submit documents to back it up, is it after approval or prior to approval but I was told to submit the documents even before approval and after approval, I will go to headquarter again for biometric and payment of new port. Has anyone

experience this before and how long does it takes. It is DIY especially with the new rules of NIS . Anyone with similar issues?

First, To be sincere here because everyone want a way out,some don't have the high amount of money needed,some just want to know.
Now, am sure you're aware what it takes to do renewal of port about 3years old and COD (their slang for change of date of birth).
Before I travel to Abuja, I was introduced to someone (a female immigration officer who's from the East---name withheld) at port office headquarter Abuja. On meeting her she says it will cost me 170k for everything since it has expired for 3yrs plus my date or birth. First she ask how many of my documents are affected (this was logic but I didn't grab), I simply reply her my waec,NIN,BVN and everything. She says nothing can be done except I do the changes on my port before I can travel. Since I was desperate and a medical student,the school has given me arrival date,so if I don't do what's necessary,I may missed out. So I plead her for 70k,she replied I should just go back to my state and explain to my parents the cost of everything. I was left thinking for 30min on what to do. Finally she says 165k last...and collect my file and keep until when ready I should let her know.
After a while,I said it's ok,I left in bitterness.
This morning,before I move I told God I have no body at the immigration,help me God. Now,the actual price for the changes is 33k(COD) + 25k(reissue) total 58k..but pay online and wait for interview,you'll wait until next year. There's no 32booklet at the moment. So I told God my case is urgent and I need help,show me favour,and direct my footstep to the right person.
I arrive immigration and I went inside,they stop me I should call the person incharge of my case,I reply the man I have no body this is what I want to do. He says ok,let me see your old port (please always be truthful and straight forward to Hausa people). I show him,he says your case is COD,don't worry i'll direct you to somebody,just wait...not upto 2min one tall dark Hausa man appear not wearing uniform,and the security man look at me and say follow him,he'll handle your case. I mate the man and show him everything he says it will cost me 120k, he said.. to be sincere this is the price,but since I need urgent,I can assure you next week. Do you have the Money? I said no I'm with 70k. He return my port to me and said when you're ready you comeback,this is not just renewal,but change of date of birth,I want to be very since with you,since you're a medical student,I don't know if by tomorrow am sick and you're likely to be the one treating me,bring 100k don't say anything by nextweek you get it. I told him 90k,he look at me for seconds,his friends laugh too and I was hopeless because I've heard here in Nairaland people spending 300k,140k,180k so my case shouldn't be different. He look at his time it was 12:45,he took me inside and meet one officer inside and said express,take him for capturing,change the date to this new one...he handed over my details to him. I saw over 100 people inside just looking at me like who's these person to us seated here since morning. Lols.
My nairaland people,that's how I was captured and am back to central area to report to embassy new date because they school want all medical students to report next Sunday. So with 90-100k if anyone here needs assistance,connect me and be prepared to move to Abuja and be captured. Thank me later. I'll refer you. If you're captured on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday you can get it.

Like I said I'll update. It took 3days and I've gotten it. Cost 90k. And with happiness I dash the man 8k because I've seen plenty other files yet to be processed.

For those that change bio data information in 2017 should be renewing their port this year. Have anyone done renewal and the old information not reflecting on immigration portal ?

One thing to know before NIN introduced to port issuers immigration officers do by fingerprints to make another port using different information to produce port, that’s why they charge high amount, so if due process not followed when changing your bio data information, your old information might likely reoccur on immigration portal at the renewal. This is for those who did change of info before 2019 NIN introduction to immigration and they should know this.

I want to correct my year of birth on my e-port from 1994 to 1995 that is all, the date and month are correct..my NIN,BVN and All other documents are having the correct year except the e-port..How much will it cost me and how long will the process take?? Can someone help me pls?

It seems there's no current/validated information on how to do a change of D.O.B on the international port.

Well, somebody I know started all over (fresh port) instead of COD for his port in 2019.

Previous port was the ECOWAS port, no travel history and renewed last in 2012 (5 years validity). So it expired in 2017.

Nigeria hasn't started BVN/NIN as at 2012.

In 2017 a football coach helped in getting us international port and the date of birth on it was not correct. I thought that has gone since it a very long time, so i went for a fresh registration. I did all the capturing and provided all necessary documents. As i am waiting for the port to come out, i was called that my request has been rejected, stating that i have a port before and i can't find the old port. Besides the date of birth on the port is not correct. Please, how can i go about this to get it fixed?

So, they didnt advice you on what to do themselves after seeing this issue?

Ok this is similar to my case, Mine was issued in 2015 and expired in 2020 without being used. I also had issue with DOB and my new NIN/BVN Carries the corrected one. So i can actually do fresh port with my NIN and it will work right? Please send me a reply, however i am up for capturing for the fresh port in January.

Thank you. I have submitted my application for a new port with change of name due to marriage. It was quite easy. I didn't have to go to Abuja and I paid #55,000 here in Lokoja. I also didn't change my name on my NIN, it was used like that bearing my maiden name and I was captured on the same day. They told me it will be out on or before six weeks.
People come from neighboring states to Lokoja to do their fresh port or renew. They give special treatment to people that did theirs online and you are captured the same day. Just be ready to wait for the six weeks for it to be out. Three weeks for renewal. My husband spent #41000 for himself and our two kids. I paid someone and I spent the whole day before I was captured. My husband and kids were out in 2 hours cos they did theirs online. Since they give special treatment to online people, why pay them?

So if i get you right, you did fresh port with the new details you need on it with your NIN and it was ready after 6weeks? Not like you did renewl?

you can't apply for a fresh port.. You will need to correct your details.. Can only be done in Abuja though

If you go and capture for a fresh port it will get rejected.
