My school offered extension for my resumption from 26th of sept to 3rd October

After sending series of mails to them pleading on extension because of delay in processing visa.

Biometric walk-in 13th of September (priority)
Dependants husband and 2kids walk-in (standard!)with one child who had that date in VI

Tracked today (20th of September)main applicant is transferred to VAC

BA booked for 1st October 2022

I pray that we are lucky enough that dependants also get visa before the standard 15working days.

Waiting to recieve at VAC and collection mail drops too

Also no BRP mail yet.

What is that of the depandants saying on the tracker? We did on 12th of Sept. Main applicant has gotten collection mail but that of dependants is still at DMC. Is that also the case with yours?

I can not renew your port as long as it's not yet expired even if it's remaining one day to expire.if u really need a new port, common sense is to go to any police station and get a report certificate on missing international port (about 10k),with the police report, u go straight to court and swear affidavit. With the police stuff and ya affidavit, u go to immigration and apply for lost port.. I will advice u to go to immigration headquarters at Abuja. Within 2 weeks, u will get new port

Just google "UK universities that accept HND and/or 3rd class nairaland" for full list

Most of the listed universities are no longer accepting 3rd class or HND. They will offer PreMasters which cost averagely £10k and which duration is than 6months.

I don’t think this is true My port has 5months to expire but I was able to renew it before I got my CAs because sch advise my port should be six months valid or should b valid to complete my studies.

Collection mail dropped for dependant finally. I have collected for main applicants and other dependents already, this was the only one we were waiting for. (I already booked flights in faith since early August so my prayer was that this would not be too delayed so that I don't change flights). Thank God it came on time!

Bio Aug 18th (did paid call on sept 16- was told awaiting decision, the lady offered to escalate)
Did paid mail on 19th Sept (response was that decision has been made - but my tracker still showed at DMC)
responded to the mail again on 20th Sept that application is still at DMC, was the same, decision has been made, advised to wait for collection mail.
Application moved to VAC yesterday afternoon
application received by VAC this morning.
Collection mail received.
Still waiting for BRP


Main Applicant- Bio date was 30th August (priority, eventually did walk in with dependant on 25th)
NSF mail received 2 times which I responded to (if you do priority and you got an nsf, your application will still be treated with priority whenever you respond)- the best advise i can give is, ensure to put all documents with your application, to avoid nsf and delays.
Collection mail received for main applicant- 9th September (it stayed at VAC for like 2 days before i got the mail, also got the BRP 2 days before the collection mail.)
BRP and Collection mail received for dependant 12th Sept

For those still waiting, this process will test your patience, just be hopeful, prayerful and patient. Everyones' collection mail will drop, it is only a matter of time.

False information. You can renew ur port anytime from the exact 6 months of expiration date
