The lawyer comes across as manipulative -- trying to take advantage of the applicant's desperation.
I wonder what the lawyer's side of the story would be, but it's a good lesson for us -- to make sure we have proper agreements in place if we wish to hire an immigration lawyer.

How can I prove my home ties? Should I apply from SA or go back to Nigeria (which I don’t want �)

I am trying to choose a school and a course for my PhD but I am really confused right now...I had my MSc. in Agricultural Economics in a Nigerian university where I had a CGPA of 4.4/7.0, after which I have worked on some health and nutrition projects (about 2 years).
I am however concerned about the 70% minimum requirement for most Canadian schools, would you advise me to apply for Phd notwithstanding or to put in for another masters in another field (I had a CGPA of 5.6/7.0 in my 1st degree in Agricultural Economics)?
How would applying for another masters affect my chances of being approved?
Please help me... All advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks and God bless.

I also thank those that fought and became lovers here.. una make us forget PPR mata for a while. The pressure no be here.

One last thing. I did my biometrics then in 2018 in Lagos and I don't have the yellow form talked about here. What do I need in order to submit my port to Abuja?

It will be better you apply for SOWP, both of you can show the POF but it must be enough to cover for the whole family.
