One thing is that Nigerians in Nigeria identify politicians by tribe. The same people are seeking visas to foreign countries where their tribes are not in power to enjoy the dividend of good leadership.

No particular tribe made Nigeria the giant of Africa. We all need each other. We are all Nigerians. The divide is caused by partisan traditional rulers and religionists who want to hold on to power or position of influence. Rather than galvanizing their clans to success, they teach hate and divisiveness because they themselves are poor in progressive knowledge.

Ethnic leadership has not proven the best for anyone. Competency and ability matters. Comparing Biden to Putin, you can see the damage that authoritarianism can do to people. Buhari could have succeeded had he the humility to listen to Nigerians. They got intoxicated with tribal powers and we all feel the pain today.

If this country falls, we fall together. No single tribe can sustain this country. We are Nigerians and the earlier we know this, we can be liberated. Any leader who is creating this divisiveness must be expunged. Any man of influence doing this must be called out and shamed. Look at these northerners. They look unhealthy yet their brother is in power. What good did they benefit from him?
