Of course there's a way to get rid of cache files. phoenix browser and it will do the job. Even the security app that came preinstalled does it too.

They are also things that apps saves that the system doesn't natively the format. All your WhatsApp backups, stickers etc fall in here.

The lesser your apps the lesser you suffer from this. So make it a habit of manually clearing your Apps Cache. Your browser's are most guilty of these.

I have just cleared my cache now, even unwittingly wiped all my WhatsApp data . The huge "other files" are still there and increasing. So, I'm guessing, like Meister said, I can't get rid of them? I maybe can just slow down the rate of increase by regularly clearing cache from each app?

Maybe you check chrome. Sometimes it's usually the culprit.

Guy this is the case with every phone so it's either you manage it like that or you save up and get at least a 128gb device
