WHAT I DID DIFFERENTLY

1, I paid my first-semester tuition in my first application. So, for my second application, I paid the second-semester tuition too

2, My spouse deposited 4M Naira (bulk sum) into my for my one-year upkeep.

3, I moved the money from my mutual benefit money market in Stanbic IBTC to a regular in GTB. I explained why I moved it. The money was there in the first application, but I felt the VO was of the opinion that it would not be easily accessible. I showed a trail of how I moved it with bank alerts and stated that the has been in operation for years and all the money was ours, with no bulk payment from outside sources.

Anytime I visit the Canadian study visa thread, I used to read of how Canadian Visa will test your patience level, I used to doubt it but here I am experiencing it first hand. My application has clocked 9 weeks today and it doesn't seem as though the end is in sight just yet. In the beginning it took almost 7 weeks for my Biometrics and Medicals to be updated and this was after constant mails and webforms. Currently my eligibility review is yet to start and my supervisor and program coordinator just sent me an email that they advised I declined the TA offer for Term 1..........this particular one broke my heart cos the TA team had already scheduled me to give online lessons via zoom and I was already calculating my salary for September.

Anyways I have declined the TA offer and by next week , the school will process my deferral to January.

In all I want to move on from this whole wahala and just carry on with my normal waka without thinking of Canada. I believe God will perfect it in his time.

Hello. I was meant to understand that for a 1yr PGD/PGC, applying to go with my family of 5 is a red flag due to the duration of the course. I was also meant to understand that I can only qualify for 1year PGWP after a one year PGD/PGC program. This means that it would still be a red flag to apply for my family to me in Canada at that time due to the duration of my PGWP (1yr). My questions are:

1. Does that mean I can only relocate my family to Canada when I get PR (after may be 3yrs) if I choose to go the route of a PGD/PGC?

2. How does someone with a second class lower degree take his family along to Canada using the study route?

3. Can my 10yr work experience alongside my 2:2 get me a direct Masters Degree ission in Canada?

4. Can a Canadian PGD/PGC be used to secure a Masters Degree ission into a Canadian University?

Can the school you used for your application defer your ission to January? If the answer is no. Send the new ission to IRCC with an explanation, especially if it is a different program using webform, and please save the confirmation email you receive. If IRCC decides on your application now, you are required to come to Canada with the LoA used for the study permit application.

For outdated LoA, I have had IRCC ask for new ission letters; in most cases, they don’t even ask for them. However, CBSA officers will, and they expect it to be the same one used for study permit applications. Meanwhile, to avoid finding yourself in a difficult situation, send the new one immediately while you wait to hear from the school this week.

What if IRCC grants me visa and I don’t have any school yet to go to? My school deadline is 20 September. I want to apply to a new school that can offer me winter ission. Please what do you suggest? You can send an email to the school notifying them of the current state of your study visa application and then request the deferral. They usually will respond within two days. If ypur request reaches them before seats for Jan intake fill up, they'll most likely approve and send updated LOA.

I can understand. I guess it's cos I applied early, I did in may for Jan intake so I wasn't waitlisted.

While you wait you can try Seneca college, I was given ission within weeks too, I sent them a DM on IG and was given an application fee waiver code. I didn't go ahead with them cos i was expected to pay the full First semester fee as deposit within 3weeks after the ission. I didn't check to know if they have a refund policy so please check before you make any payments supposing you opt for them.

Pls house , My mom is my sponsor and she has sent my first semester tuition fee to my bank which I have paid using my dom Acc, she sent me 10 million naira few months ago which I have successfully deposited in a fix deposit in my name. Do I need a Deed of gift for the 10 million? or she should state in the sponsor letter that she gave me 10 million which I have fixed and the money is to be used towards my academic and I will explain too in my letter of explanation
