deegov: Hi Research for schools and course. PR suitablity, entry requirements, number of years, tution, if you'd need an agent. all that. Research well. Then apply to the school for whatever entry time that's convenient. Either by yourself or through an agent. Máke sure the agent is legit. Schools usually have a list of agents per country. Submit necessary documents as the case may be Get offer letter Pay tution deposit. Send receipt Get CoE confirmation of enrollment Apply for visa about AUD650 Do Biometrics #11476 or so and medicals #46500 Wait for visa response |

OJ18:is there anyway I can reach you? I just got married To my wife recently in absentia. Her family did the marriage in her absence while we paid the bride price. She is in Australia with student visa Our plan was to use the dependent spouse visa to assist me but the problem now is that when travelling, she didn't write that she was married. So the agent said it's not possible for us to use spouse visa since she didn't indicate initially that she was married. Is this true? We have enough photos and videos together. Right now they are saying I should use school visa and I have only ND. I am so confused. Never been this confused in my life.. I am close to depression |

Do Nigerians need a transit visa if traveling through Singapore to Australia? Can I apply online? Which routes are the best to Australia for Nigerians? I’m not based in Nigeria.

NICOSIA: Officially you don't need a visa but I wont recommend transiting via Singapore, Thailand and others are better |
Samstan4: 3:26am On Aug 26, 2022 |
Light21: Nawao! I wished he applied earlier but it's well! I was told that they had to pause the family Visa only to focus on skilled workers presently. |

Please are there any Australian universities that do not require agents to be used for PhD application? I have researched but can’t seem to find any. How about masters? |
Skyrocket1: 7:33am On Aug 26, 2022 |
paradigmshift: She could return to Nigeria for a registry marriage with you because that is what the Australian government recognizes. And when she returns back to Australia, she can update her marital status by including your name and then file for a dependent visa on your behalf. You guys will just need to prove that your union is genuine and ongoing (pictures, marriage certificate, proof of financial , etc). |

Skyrocket1:thanks for the explanation. The family made a big mistake because they should have allowed her to come home for the marriage and she travelled to Australia last December. the visa given to her was two years and due to COVID-19 lockdown, she stayed one year in Nigeria before moving to Australia in December. What the agent wanted to do was that since she already got the student visa being single and due to the COVID-19, she got married and left last December, so it was not possible for her to include my name in the dependent, we can as well provide the registry certificate with photos if need be. The agent said it can be done this way..... Now the problem is that the girls family said they will assist me with the tuition fee fr student visa and necessary while I provide only 4mil. If you are in my shoes what will you do pls because am confused. Lastly, The dependent visa would have been better because I don't have to be schooling and paying school fees but right now nobody know how long the visa takes to be processed because I asked the agent how long it will take for the spouse visa to be granted and she said she doesn't know because it varies and no fixed time and from what I saw online , it takes 9-12 months. I also asked the agent concerning the student visa and she said I can only go to Australia February next year because the trimester is already gone. I really need help because I am confused and don't know the option to go for either the student visa or dependent.. I can't eat properly. I will appreciate your . God bless |

afam4life:thanks my brother. Somebody said It will be hard for me to apply for student visa if they refused my spouse visa but I doubt this. Deep down in me I will prefer the dependent visa /spouse visa because I don't want to be indebted to the girls family with the tuition fee and all that even though they are nice . Am just scared of making the wrong decision between spouse and the school. I have been a man and I know what I have gone through to get to this stage. If you are in my shoes, what Will you go for? |
