If your letter of acceptance has 3 starting date, they won’t defer your ission, instead they’ll ask you to reapply again. I know this because it happened to me and I had to reapply but luckily, I got another ission within a week. You can try reaching out to them for a deferral, I hope yours will be different from mine.
