Who told you address is not an issues infact I'm having similar issue.
My NIN address which is old address is different from my current house address I used for port application. I was told my online details didn't match with my NIN details the thing is making me stranded I don't know what to do my capturing date is September date

Who also told you that your address is the error?
Well...my NIN address was different from the address I used in application and I had no issues.
What needs to match is your name arrangements and date of birth.

Bro make I no lie you the thing long no be small. The time on my appointment slip was 2pm and I got there 1pm. My name wasn't called until 5pm. So all I am tryna to say is get ready to wait for a longer period of time.


And one more piece of advice is don't wear a white shirt or top. You won't be allowed to capture or else you'd be told to borrow a Coat and you arr going to pay 1k for it

2) Did anyone harass you for money or did they give preference to those that paid extra?

3) which court did young go to and how much did you pay for the court stamp?

4) My appointment is by 2 pm, if I get there early in the morning will it make a difference?

1) In my own case I wasn't asked for any of those yesterday because I had done my interview. But they didn't ask for it not even from another person.
2) I wasn't harassed neither was any preference given to those who paid extra money. The only factor that could hasten up your capturing is if you know any officer that'd help you. The man I know wasn't around else I wouldn't have stayed that long.
3) I didn't do that myself. Someone help me. But I heard you can do it nearby. Just ask around.
4) I'd advise you get there by 12/1. You might be lucky they call your name in time.

I am just saying my own baseed on my experience. What works for me might not for you.

please, people that did capturing in Ph office, do I need to go a day before my appointment to open a file or I can do it that same day and still be captured?

Sure all things being equal you will be notified from the track site or via SMS but check again after a month if you've not be notified via those platforms

I think getting a port is easier and cheaper for those of us in remote northern states.

A friend paid 35k here in Sokoto to an officer (express as they claim, cos they usually charge 25k) and got his port in less than 24hrs. He was captured in less than 1hr after payment.

I choose the DIY path since I will not be needing it anytime soon, paid N17800/person for myself and wife last Saturday.

We didn’t book any appointment, just walked to there office in sokoto today being 16/08/2022 with all required documents in a file. The officers weren’t discriminating if it’s through them or DIY, they see it as their duty to attend to you.

We were both captured after going through all the processes and left there in less than 40mins. We were told the ports will be ready between 4-6 weeks (fair enough for us).
