I agree. I ed business after my NYSC when no job was forth coming, in the business, I had zero knowledge of it, my both parents are teachers, no one taught me , to the glory of God flourishing till date. Perfectly doing well.

No one is born with experience. If all employers want who has experience , where then do those who don't have experience get theirs from .

It therefore means that, once all those who have experience retires or die, the workforce will become empty .
They are facing similar problem in some civil service....they had to delay retirement for many people inorder to mentor people up .....

If only all these blue chip companies could just have like a branch for internship purposes, where they train graduates and it's likes before inculcating them into the system, it will do alot of good. The experienced candidate they are looking for, gain their experiences from other companies or establishments that took time to train them. No one is born with experiences, it is not part of our DNA, experience is developed, it is practically taught and nurtured.

The mistake you are making is this.
The companies don't give a "FFFF" about you!!!
You are not their child.
If you want to really work in that company, go and target a staff that is already working there and beg that guy to teach you.
Make friends with him. Stalk him. Find his church, mosque wherever. Find the person. Let him use his mouth to tell you what
the company does. Then YOU go and learn it.
Later, you will have confidence to work in that company.

You can't just be sitting at home, watching your phone and expect bluechip company to pick you and teach you everything.
