They usually respond within 1-3days but ideally 48hrs, if you don't get a by the end of the day you can make a paid call

You have to be on hold for awhile and I believe that's quite some funds but atleast you hear what the status is

You may need to confirm with the airline you use and any transit countries as well

Decision is currently 3weeks at most

The concern is that you are still at the CAS request stage, you haven't gotten your CAS, done your visa application nor biometrics

Your port will either be expired or a few weeks if not days left before a decision is made.

Try to renew your port

Although we have our marriage cert, newpaper publication and all other affidavit of change of name. Is there any reason to be worried since we are both travelling together.

Love this write up, I have said it before don't panick, be calm these mistakes are not as futile as we make it to be, I understand the Nigerian factor, but relax people, UKVI is way more lenient and understanding. There are formats to b followed, and they will follow it regardless, no b Nigeria way right na left, left na right. And please read with understanding, what favored Tobi might not favor Obi, just be honest with ur application, follow UKVI guidelines as pertaining ur application, and live the rest to Oluwa, go sleep. I made little mistakes but my visa no long commot, I did not share it here becos some people fit use pannick kill u. My g's relax we r all heading their, success to all applicants. Japayans! Awu....

Currently the UK runs a point based system for the issuance student visa. They consider your POF, your CAS and your English language and assign the appropriate points to them. Once you hit 70 points your visa is sure. The areas where you should be worried if you made a mistake on them are : your CAS number, your POF calculation (funds below the required amount) and your proof of English (IELTS or WAE)

If you are covered in this area, any other minor mistakes you make while filling the application form can be overlooked by them. However to put your mind at rest, you can write a correction letter to them and correct the error you made and scan and it along with your other documents when you are ing your documents.

UKVI cannot deny your visa because you mis-spelt your name or your put a wrong house address or all these other reasons you guys cancel your applications for.

They know you can request for AR once they deny you on any reason that is not one of the PBS parameters and it will be overturned.

Personally my POF was only held in my accout for 19 days before I submitted and paid for visa and IHS before I realised that the funds has to be there for the full 28 days before online application submission, but I did not cancel my application. I waited for them to send NSF for proof of funds so I can print and resend to them but it didn’t come and my visa was approved.

Please house is it compulsory that the proof of couples living together must be 2 years minimum?

Oh, that’s quite a relief knowing the decision has been made. How soon after did you received a response to your paid mail? I sent mine today.
