I sent my family ports to vfs Abuja since Friday July 8,2022 using courierplus but I was informed around 10am on Friday July 15,2022 that it has been delivered to vfs Abuja but I do not receive the usual vfs Abuja message that the ports have been received and it's under processing.

Is there anything to fear about that?
And is there a way I can confirm if the ports have been delivered?

You can call VFS on Monday morning for update. It is possible there is a missing letter/error in your email address.

You will pay the transmission fee of 9410 to VFS (Please confirm exact amount now) and include evidence in the envelope otherwise they will return it.

My mistake
I did upfront medicals on 26th of May. I did not or send my medical information sheet until I got the request. I just felt it will be updated. Unfortunately, IOM didn't send my medicals till 6th of June.

My advice always send your medical information sheet immediately you do your medicals to save time.

Not true. I applied for a friend on the new portal and it was approved in 17days! Just 17 days. Both application channels still work...

I had the same experience. I sent out my port through DHL on 9th July and it got delivered at VFS Abuja on 13th July. By 15th July I didn’t the email from them, I had to call them. I found out they made a mistake in my email address and my port was ready for pick up. I don’t think there’s any need to worry. Just call them on Monday morning to know what’s up

But naija way, 1-2weeks. Or 1 month. Depending on your money.
