I just see this on one of the opened positions in the NERC recruitment exercise, these guys are not serious or they just don't want anyone to apply, like they already have someone for the job.

How can someone who is 30-32 years have 9 years working experience in Nigeria?

I don't know shaa.

It doesn't hurt to apply but those roles are probably already filled, it's just a subtle way to say fvxk off.

They should say they don’t want to employ people, simple or which one is stupid qualification requirement when schools strike for about 1-3 years while students should have finished their degrees.

Now I know why some people reduced their ages when we gained ission.

I mean WTF?

Please our honourable Peter obi for the president's of federal Republic of Nigeria, we are tired of those thief's now,

Without a tribalism and nepotism any sane Nigerian's know it's someone like Peter obi that can now rescue Nigeria from totalling sinking, but seriously some ethnics bigot's people will just still prefer to hav their own man at the affairs of the country either he is capable or not than to go for what could have been the best solution to all nigerian's current problems, #Peter obi 2023 confirm

Asiwaju is currently in Egypt studying the modalities to repositioning NERC. NERC has been bastardized.
All applicants in this sector should be hopeful.

Asiwaju Peter Adekunle Obi will fix this sector.
He remains the chief mechanic for the job.

They are trying to recruit the best, you are the ones who complain about inept imbeciles in government. A person who graduates at 21-23 should have 9 years experience by 32.

NERC is not recruiting. Forget about this lies and it should not have being in the front page after NERC has denied the recruitment. https://nerc.gov.ng/index.php/media-library/public-notices/589-disclaimer-notice-of-false-recruitment

Some graduate at 22 and at 32 he or she would have had 9 years experience, provided he/she got job immediately after youth service.

There are hundreds if not thousands of serious people qualified for the job. They only need 1, trust me they won’t be short of applicants.

First of all, age discrimination should be treated like gender discrimination and abolished in Nigeria

Secondly, that job posting may just be a formality. The corruption in the system is very surreal. These are the questions our darling youths never get to ask their politicians and hold them able. Buhari spent 8 years in office, when was this question ever posed to him again and again?

I encourage you to apply though. Adjust your CV to capture school project work, industrial experience and professional courses you may have taken online

1. Graduating at 21 - 23 nine years ago is utterly irrelevant to being "the best" for the job.

2. . It's absurd for a government that is overseeing the setback of its students' academic progress for years to be expecting people to graduate by 21 to 23.

3. Generally, age limits for this sort of senior job is pointless. People have a variety of paths through life and arbitrarily cutting off people above 32 is discriminatory.

Whenever people come up with such requirements, it shows how devoid of human feelings and lack of empathy that we have.

So, invariably we have disenfranchised others because of a huge gap in years of experience?

Realistically, it is possible. On the other hand, it is not realistic because of the below factors:

1. Incessant strikes
2. Lack of jobs

The same f00ls that created such requirements will still complain about how bad the economy is.

I don't think they are humans at all.
