Better to walk into the bank

Gtbank mobile app and online banking has all the necessary details.
Personally, I prefer the one generated from the app, because it has an extra detail "USEABLE BALANCE"

I am still expecting ission offers from the universities I applied, but I want to be clear with this study gap thing and employment reference.

I finished my degree in 2012, that means I have a study gap of 11years as I am going for january intake.
Although am in the UAE and I have residence stickers on my port carrying my employment details from 2015 till this moment. I have worked with 3 different companies and it evident on my port because I have their employment details on my residence stickers on my port.

Do I need to get a reference letter or the residence stickers are enough. I have lost employment offer letter from the two previous companies, but I still have employment offer letter from my current employer and letter of promotion as well.

Employer 1.... 2015-2018
Employer 2.... 2018-2020
Emploer 3..... 2020-till date

I also did some courses back in 2019 like Nebosh IGC, IoSh MS, ISO 45001 which are all UK courses. Does this cover for study gap in any way?

If I have to get a reference letter from 2 previous companies, they will do me strong thing( cause I had force my way out because employers in UAE just want you to stay with them and not make progress).

My current empoyer is cool, they are all uk guys and we have good relationship, but I dont want to let them I wan japa because they have good plans for me. I just wan Japa from UAE because this one UAE govt are doing Nigerian VIsas like Nepa now, I dont want to be affected my it at all.

So please, what are you on about?
People need to reduce the stress they go thru during this visa process period and if you can get a mobile statement, save yourself the stress. Globus that i used even came with a stamp despite being online. The embassy accepted it for the entire family. PLEASE LETS STOP CREATING PANIC IN THE MINDS OF PEOPLE. MANY THINGS ARE STRAIGHTFORWARD!

I have experienced it with Zenith bank so YOU DELETE WHAT YOU WROTE AND STOP MISLEADING PEOPLE!

2. The courses you did were only for 2019, these certificates won't cover all study gaps

I had tweaked my Cv for the my applications. I used a friend's company for my employment details (2018-2020) so that he can respond as my referee on time and I can easily get a reference letter from him. Although his company name is different from what i have on my residence stamp on my port, but that shouldnt be a problem cuz it happens alot here in UAE, you can have visa from one company and work with another company. I believe as long i can get a reference letter from my friend that i worked with him for those period, i should be fine.

I still have employment letters, promotion from my current employer.. that should be fine too.

My employer from 2015-2018, I cannot get a single pin from them. It was a war for me to exit from that company(I think there visa stamp on my port should be okay).

If you already have the funds in your dom card its easier. But if you want to buy from aboki weigh your options with the rate barter gives

Please, i just got my bank statement from zenith and its not stamped or signed, can i use it to apply?

Please has anyone successfully used First bank statement generated from the mobile app before? Each time I try to get it sent to my email it shows error.

A close relative was in a similar situation last year. She started her course in September 21 and got a sponsorship job 3 months later. Her sponsor knew she was on a student visa, still new in the country but didn’t see it as a problem. I recall she queried about the 3 month timeline in the UKVI guideline but her sponsor clarified that it wouldn’t affect her application.

She got her COS, applied and was granted a 5 year Tier 2 visa in February. She is now working full time, still studying albeit on a different visa category. Judging from her outcome, I’ll say it’s possible to switch while you’re a student as long as you meet the requirements.

Be aware that no one here can tell you what your outcome will be as every case differ. I’ll advise that you speak to your sponsor about your concerns. This is what my relative did and her employer was more than happy to assist her throughout the process.
