The function of this is to use only solar during the day and switch on nepa/grid at night without having any backup battery in place.

It's important to note that the PV should be the only one working during the day with drawing power from nepa,
And it should be automated in a way that if sun goes down or more power is required it can tap small from grid

Why I'm saying this, is so we don't need to start disconnecting nepa during the day,......

it is possible,but u need a hybrid inverter like deye,with more than enough solar s. deye hybrid inverter has such automations.

If you are not budget tight then go for Deye as already mentioned. Other budget alternatives are MPP, growatt and sorotec....I don't know Felicity hybrids that this; they will require some kind of battery no matter how little

I have always been suspicious of "batteryless solar inverter". I don't think it will work well for home. It may be okay for solar pumps or heater or any other situation where "power when available" is acceptable. Where you need continuous power, it will not work so well.
