My note 10 pro is just frustrating me.
It will freeze and hang until i force restart it.
I have factory reset it and the problem is still there

It is not different same update. Just made available for all when they are satisfied with the all the tests.

Firmwares like App release through steps,

Internal Beta Test, Closed Beta, Internal Pilot/Beta, public closed Pilot, Public beta/Stable Beta and then finally public.

In this case if the existing wasn't good public won't get 13.0.8.0 but the next releases that satisfies all steps.

Am I good to go with this update? Just got Redmi 10c. I noticed that the update is not moving, and the network is strong here cos other things are working perfectly. Pls I need more enlightenment on this update and why it's not moving.
The charging is slow too

And the issue about charging...well you have a 10 watts charger to charge a 5000mah battery. Normally it s 18 watts fast-charging but they put a 10 watts charger in the box. Although from 0-100% should take about 2hours 50 minutes. But again the charging will improve after the update.

I noticed my redmin 10c keeping showing the charging icon sign even when the phone is at 100% during charging. I fear if the fone isn't overcharging. I thought it should stop charging when it achieves the 100% mark. Does these pose a threat to the battery? Does any other have similar issue?

First of all no one asked you to unzip a ROM. The updater unpacks it when it is updating.

I have posted guides on manually updating Xiaomi phones severally. Search for them.

Also always use a manager to large Zip files. Especially 1DM+
