@Adesina, I had my biometric on April 26th, I have done several paid mails and calls but the last one I did was on the 2nd of June and I got a response that a decision has been made. Currently waiting for tls to send a pick up mail, Try initiating a paid mail to know if a decision has been taken on your application

Thanks so much ma, I intended to stay for 15days. I have someone that will accommodate me for the period.
Am into buisness, but after my monthly expenses I can boost of 300k extra in my acct. I spend roughly 50k per month for house runs.

Also I have a cousin in Australia that want to sponsor me, will his statement of be relevant as part of the document am to submit along with my own statement of acct. Or my statement alone can cover me.?
Or can he just give me the money directly to my ?

Ok. I advise you cut it down to 10 days. Free accomodation is great. Ask your host/hostess for a letter of invitation and a copy of his/her port data page.

As an adult, you are expected to fund your vacation. Your cousin can help but it is your economic situation that really counts. With a monthly savings of N300,000 you are can comfortably afford to fund your vacation so I would suggest you don't bring in this cousin based in Australia.

You need to submit all documents relating to your business and PROVE that your income is actually derived from the business. That is the real work. You must prove that your business is doing well and convince the ECO that you have no reason to stay in the UK indefinitely.

Take your time to build your case and fill the online form very carefully. If you are honest and have a viable business, you'll get the visa.

is it a visit visa? Is it renewal or first time applicant? Also where did you do your biometrics? Wishing you the best as you get your travel docs. Like others said… since you didn’t get a refusal mail, you most likely to have a visa stamped on your port

Strange. In my own case, they took only the first page of the checklist. I even asked about the other pages and the lady said they don’t need them.

It was the 10th of May.

Refusal latter drop this morning I know that will be the outcome because my plan visit date for event has past already because of their delay in visa processing. Biometric 21 April

This is my first Time application and my business shows Active on CAC website because i cleared up my annual returns before submitting my visa application also include the acknowledgement letter, but the challenge is that i did not include my Tax Clearance certificate which is different from annual return filling. is an eye opener for others to learn
Meanwhile i have gotten visa from other countries without adding any Tax clearance certificate. which i also include the copy of my visas in my Uk application

Good afternoon everyone. I did biometrics on the 28th of March for a family of four. We received mails from tls to pick up port for myself, my husband and my daughter on the 10th of May.

port with 6 months visit visas were picked up on the 11th of May.

Since then my son's port hasn't been released back to us. After several paid mail, response on the 19th of May was that a decision has been made and the visa application center will reach out but its been over 10 working days and no mails from tls yet, the stage on the tracker hasn't moved ed the 3rd stage(port picked up by the DMC).

Please kindly advise on what other steps to take.

@cashmadam is right, i stated 5 times my monthly income and wrote a letter stating i had saved for the trip and attached evidence with source of funds.

I had a very good balance in two savings which i added to my application. My daughter's visa is ready and my son and i are still waiting and hoping for good news this week.

As for the savings, do I have to indicate that under the "Your income and savings" section for my daughter who is underage and not working or should I just select the "I do not have any other income or savings" and then under the space for comments, I can then stress the saving from which the funds would be drawn from in addition to attaching the evidence? - ok, that's fine. I assumed you will stay with someone and have accomodation sorted. Apologies for that assumption. In that case, you can bump it up to about 1,600. But make sure the figure is realistic viz a viz your income and savings.

Your daughter is a minor (I believe) and she's not expected to have savings. So, just indicate that she doesn't have any savings.

For her, simply include your statement of to show where the funds will come from. It's pretty simple for minors.

You'll have to wait it out. Not sure you can do anything about it. I hope your travel date is not round the corner
