Do they request for a statement of from my sponsor to take to the embassy?

What are some possible though questions vo ask’s?

They don't normally request for it . But in your case their question may get to that . That is to say they may

Me - I will be doing that with some personal funds that I have saved up. I will also be getting monthly stipend from my department

She only asked me 3 questions, I don't know what the problem was, is it a problem to use personal funds ?

Personal funds is always tricky especially when deficit begins to linger between 10k dollars and above and working experience is less than the 5 year period. I would advice you to get a "proper" sponsor. You already have funding shoot your shot again.

I think if you adjust your responses the outcome will be better.

For the first question, "what will this MSc do you for you"? Look at it as, "what will it do for you in the short to medium term"? "What will you achieve that you haven't been able to"? Something like, "You have worked for 4 years, and you have been looking for advancement opportunities, but those opportunities favor people with advanced degrees. Your supervisor has also confirmed that your profile is also not as competitive, so this M.Sc. is the logical step to improve your current situation".

For the question on "how you would pay the deficit"? It would be better to say that, "I have worked for this long and I have personal savings of Bleep that would more than sufficiently cover that deficit".

The VO doesn't know your story, which is why you are there at the interview to ensure they can understand it. So don't expect them to ask many questions until they get your story (it's an interview, not an interrogation), don't also rely on documents to give the story. Full succinct answers that will help them connect the dots easily in a short time is a good strategy.

Some days ago, I was denied visa at the US consulate Lagos. Now, I want to reapply for another appointment date at the Abuja embassy but the CGI page is showing me that my port is still at the US Embassy/Consulate. I don't know what this means because I have my port with me.
Also, it is showing that there are currently no appointments available.
Please, how do I book for another appointment date before the resumption date of my school in August?

Go with it and any other important documents. It’s better you have them and not request for any than for you not to bring them along for your interview. Please, play safe.

I am going for a fully funded leadership program with an extension to attend a conference in the US.

I applied for an emergency appointment at the Abuja embassy but was denied. When I was applying I didn't state anything about leadership program. I only mentioned conference in my brief explanation of emergency.

My friend got a date in Lagos but only stated that she is going for a leadership Symposium.

What should I do, I need to get my vissa by July to utilize the travel grant.

Should I pay another MRV receipt and request for another emergency appointment at the Abuja embassy or fill another DS 160 and pick Lagos to apply.

for example, if it was due to not having done some core courses in your undergrad etc just be bold about it all other things being equal

She should get a notarized letter of introduction from the sponsor.
