Please I need more info for my brother. He is a medical doctor who wants to apply for fall ission next year. He wants to do masters in global health, but wants to also be able to write his PLAB exams over there, will you advice him to go for masters or make plans to write Plab 1 here in Nigeria first? Can others please also throw more light in this please.

he should apply for a masters, getting date for PLAB 1 in Nigeria is becoming more difficult as slots gets filled up in minutes of the portal opening. He will even be able to save more towards his PLAB when working as a student there, he will definitely get a Job while awaiting completion of PLAB 1 and 2 in UK as a doctor if he finishes his masters ( healthcare assistant and other roles in NHS). Transition will be easier after PLAB 2 as he is already in the country and with experience of the system. My details are on my signature for any assistance

How is that possible? Flight from Nigeria or any African to Leeds Bradford airport?

KLM fly directly to Bradford,it is possible to come through any of the airport that tends to international travellers,but those flights are usually overpriced

some universities don't mind if you have been refused a visa or not, but if any university ask for it, please tell them the truth. I have been refused offer for ission in some UK schools because of Canada visa refusal, but some made me an offer regardless.

Yes many people here have tried manual booking and it worked. You won’t be tested that day, just given a date.
Make payment after getting a date. Transfer to the , print payment receipt and take along with you on your test date.

There’s no other option, it’s either Form A or black market.

Me and my husband did our biometric for Uk visa at ikeja,since 26th of April…application still at dmc,have any one gotten for 26th of apy

total flight duration sometimes upto 15 hours if you dnt find klm and you need transit visa .. just so the person knows..

It’s stated there ‘kindly forward soft copies’ that is soft copies of the documents you ed for form A to your officer.

Regardless, still declare it when applying to other schools. I’m sure there are schools out there that would agree to sponsor you.

Letter that was addressed to immigration i think, not sure now.
I will have to double check, the letter is not addressed to the owner of the visa, its only issued to you to show as a .
As a student, only your visa will take you out of naija, but its not the only doc that will it into the UK.
Ill suggest you write to ukvi and explain your ordeal and print whatever response.
Better to play safe

it's not really a student, but a student's dependants partner. The student is already in the UK.

you are not alone. Some of us even applied before that 26th. Lets just hope and pray. Also have you sent a paid mail.

I know, even when you do the middle east/ African airlines which are cheaper options,your journey time including lay over could be as high as 24/36hrs.
Doing Virgin & BA would still amount to around 12-15hrs if you add the inland transportation within.
if the Traveller can afford it flying straight to the destination is far far better,at least for a 1st timer

GTBank will not debit a savings for any FX transaction. If you have a current , move your money there. Otherwise, you will wait for a long time. Once they check and your money is in a savings , they move on to the next person.

I had a job between 2014-2016, but I have been self-employed since 2017 till date.

1. I intend putting application towards next year September intake, but would love to ask if my self-employment can cover for study gap (2017 upward), because I'm just about to get the business ed; won't there be issues since I wanted to use the business to cover study gap from 2017, but I'm just ing it in 2022.


2. My middle name is missing on my Bsc certificate as a result of an error on the part of my school, it only carries my Surname and first name.

Although I used the certificate to secure issions in the UK schools, because I thought I would be able to make it for this year's September intake.

But now, I'm working towards next year, to this end, after securing ission towards next year, would love to ask if there won't be issue at the Visa stage or is there anything I should do to avert any issue.
