Please don't make the mistake of carrying dollar cash to the uk. The rates are terrible. Pay it into a USD domiciliary in Nigeria and come along with the card. The rates is better

For monthly paid staff, usually pay day is, popularly, the last working day of the month, meaning, if your start work date is 3rd May 2022, then your first pay will be 31st May 2022

if u are returning to Nigeria, count 14 days after the day of 2nd dose. Vaccine day being day 0. Otherwise u must pay for day 2 and day 7. Clays betwn 80- 100k

And what are the advantages and disadvantages. What positive or negative effect will tier 2 visa have on the students dependants still in Nigeria?

I can't say. When I wanted option 1, the aboki guys said they would convert to usd to naira at buying price and change naira to gbp at selling price. You do the maths.
I just ended up going with option 2. U get charged for withdrawing cash but free when paying for transactions with the card.

If Inspectors accost you on the bus, it's a £50 fine immediately or £70 in 3 weeks on National express. This is after showing them your bus .

I won't advise you bring it to the UK. The rates here aren't good. You can deposit it in your Nigerian USD if it's a decent bank like Access, Zenith or Gtb. Otherwise, convert it to Pounds or Naira at aboki.

Ensures that you are paid at least a day before a bank holiday. More so, say Sun (5th) is a non working day, payment is made latest by the 4th or most likely Fri 3rd.
These are nothing to worry much about. Ensure, you are in control of your timesheet (paper or electronic)

Payment will be from the employer to your nominated bank (effectively a direct debit). For some, it just 24 hours, however, it might be around 2-3 days. The 5 working days is for the employer to cover themselves legally/risk

If I understand what you enquire, one of your concern is continue with studies or not.

Gurus and elders had clarified this on this thread. I can't recall the page.

Leaving and re-entering the UK ...
What do you intend to do afterwards? ...
