These businesses should know that most Nigerians are very very stubborn in fact very wicked set of people. Imagine this one, you borrowed 30k you no fit pay so you ended up borrowing another loan to pay for the first loan, AMAKA WHY? If these loan companies had done their risk analysis properly they would have seen someone who clearly cannot live within his means, they would have seen someone that is high risk, sooner or later most of these companies would pack up when they realize Nigerians no get shame, in fact shameless is our national identity

The issue is that many of these loan companies give loans without collateral. (unlike your regular bank which gives loans with collateral eg..you take a loan from first bank, using a piece of land as collateral).

If you do not pay back the loan you took from a normal bank, they will sell your collateral and make back their money.

Loan app companies don't have that advantage, hence the very high interest rates.

it as happened to me before xcross cash, after making payment they claim they didn't receive it so I snapped the tracking id of the transfer and sent them all evidence of transfer they kept calling me, omo I tagged them for Twitter dropped evidence and rubbish them, them call me I swear for them

Nigerians don't pay loan, so anyone willing to loan you will assume you are high risk so will charge for the risk taken.
Why do you think Nigerian normal banks despite all the collateral etc, wount give you loan with their comparatively lower interest rate? Because they cannot afford to chase you because of defaults, so they rather keep their money.
A friend needs 20m to conclude a contract he has. He approached his bank where he has done turnover of 180m in the last 6months, them no give am. Rather he was directed to a brother to a banker that offered to loan him the money for 3 months at 40% ie 8m! He will sign with lawyer and provide postdated cheque.

I know that is the reason. I still run it within my area, but I won't dare expand it to accommodate unknown people.

You made payment they claim, they did not receive it you still want to make another payment I smell lies , if make payment and you have your transaction receipt documented on phone or bank app I tell you don't pay anything again infact if you know there office, carry better lawyer body take them to court I tell you they will pay for the damages for insulting your family
