Very possible. Even if it comes in July and you're able to use EA. You'll most probably get a date. It's better to be prepared and be late than rush and be unprepared. If the funding comes through your visa approval has higher chances.

I was denied recently with a funded offer at Abuja. I have been trying to look out for a new date. Although, I have been seeing dates released for the past one week (on the Regular Visa priority), these dates will not reflect on the Denied section of the Visa priority.

Please what can I do? Will dates be out under the denied section within the 6 months? Do I wait? Or can I go ahead to pick a date from Regular? Please does anyone have any experience with this? And what is your counsel?

Cus the chances they might know are high, Just know what they're up to there, what their status is and how they got in. Having a sponsor as a US citizen isn't an outright denial, check past transcripts of people who have used this and got approved. You can search the thread using key words "Us citizen" "transcript"
