your finances/economic tie will be one of the points to judge the application.
In other words, I shouldn’t bother to apply?

My brother is a British citizen.
Please note that I’m different from the other person that her visa was denied.
I’m yet to apply

ok.
It’s safer for you to have your own ties in of job/finances, property/investments, assets, marriage, travel history etc.. some get lucky but the number is minimum.
You are married and have 2kids.. good stuff so u cnt abandon them .. one point.. but you are not financially able to afford a holiday without your brother totally sponsoring it.. low income paying job.. if you get a better job in the Uk, you will decide to stay back.. if you had a business making lots of profit it will be hard for u to abandon tht business to go and stay illegally in the Uk..
with your current status, u can decide to seek asylum and stay to get papers and go back for your kids.. your brother can provide u soft landing with accommodation and covering you till u can stand strong.. travel history is not compulsory but it helps.. eco is unable to judge how you have treated other immigration systems to see if granted whether u will return.
I’m not a visa officer but at least there are some basic things to click check… eco will also say you can always travel at a differnt time when your circumstances are much bettter, there is nothin to actually really force his hand to give visa. What is the reason gan gan.. if you say you have missed your brother and need to see him, very valid reason.. but if they want to refuse they will use this as opening statemnt… ‘whilst I acknowledge the seriousness of family ties I must consider your personal circumstances’

I already stated in my application that I’m a stay at home mom of three kids, with regular income from my husband and family (siblings in the UK).
I detailed all my circumstances in my cover letter.
I submitted my ission letter for the start of my program. The program started last year May. We finished exams last month, still awaiting results.
I didn’t submit any letter of introduction from the school.

In a summary In the light of above, I am not satisfied that your personal and financial circumstances are as stated by you. I am therefore not satisfied that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit and that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor.
Denial reasons
1. Outdated letter from institute
2. Student who declared no income, no savings yet multiple credits and great expenditure than declared
3. If your program is ending April 2022, and we just ed April 2022, how does that institution serve as a tie seeing that you have finished with them?
You indicate you want to reapply… how do you plan on addressing all the stated? The financial information is in a mess, the studentship tie received by eco is outdated, if you reapply it will truly show the program has ended and u basically do not have a job or school to come back to…
Plus this is a fully funded trip.. for a wedding… what convinces the eco that after the wedding you will come back or that you wont stay back and rely on public funds or stay back to seek asylum?[/quote]

We just started the second semester exams when I submitted my application. As it is, I haven’t even graduated because results aren’t out yet.
Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned it then, I just didn’t want to fill in unemployed alone.
My husband and kids were my ties.

as a student, introductory letter from the university/college/institution is one of the basic things to provide… in this, the school will introduce u as a student, when u entered, how long u have left and then end with no objection to your travel, u didnt get a letter from schl because for obvious reasons it will be mentioned that programme will end in April 2022.. then for your finances, your brother will fully cover the whole trip… because you can not afford to.. why do you have to take a holiday that u can’t afford..
Or why can’t your spouse sponsor?
your brother and mom are british citizens, if you decide not to return you will have enough coverage and no fear and can relax.. mom has a house, I dnt know if u mentioned this one inside too.. u will have free accommodation… they have to put all into perspective and this is what they did.
Your finance, eco got bamboozled, so many credits, so many withdrawals and can not accurately gauge your personal financial circumstance. On a scale of all the above, they took decision to refuse.
I am not against ur reapplying, I just want to know the points to tackle the refusal u want to use.
You can try if you dnt mind the possibility of another refusal, make your children and husband a project and let your brother feign anger as a citizen as to after his contributions in of tax etc to the british economy why his blood relative will be refused an opportunity to attend his wedding… i dnt know if it’ll work but sometimes emotional strings covered with comionate request in not so obvious form works.

I could have pasted my cover letter here but it is quite detailed ( I got tips from the group when applying)... I mentioned in the cover letter that my program ends April 2022. I highlighted the funds in my and the fact that it was from hubby and family . Which is evidenced in transaction details. I also stated that my brother was fully funding the trip, because he wanted me at his wedding ( which is true). I’m the only one out of 5 siblings not attending. Everyone is in the UK.
It’s quite painful ..,

Hello everyone, please is it advisable to send a third enquiry about visa application status?
The first paid email was 9th May, second was sent 15th May. The response to both mails was “awaiting decision “.
Biometrics was 5th April.
Will UKVI still issue a visa if the event that one is going for takes place before the port is released.
Thank you.

I submitted my application on April 8,2022 and did Biometrics April 19,2022 and choose withhold my port option

I did paid email on 18th May,2022 and was told a decision has been made.

I went to drop my port today and I was not given anything, they just signed "port collected back by " .

For those that did keep my port  option
1. Is the respond from the paid mail ok or I need another mail?
2. Did they give you a document when you submitted your port?
3. What next after  port submission?

Thank you.

these countries are inconsequential as travel history to the UK. Whether you go to the above 3 or not, it does not change anything as travel hx but feel free to go. Also your marriage is legal, if or when you apply provide other proofs such as pictures, traditional wedding pictures, whatsapp chats, attestation from family , t bills together, properties/assets in both your names etc

Each applicant makes a separate payment. Chose same day for you all if you want everyone to get it done same day. I'll also advice you go there early so as to avoid the later queues. Get there on or before 8am as you'd be among the first set if people to be attended to. All the best!

I want to ask :if a family want to do walk- in in TLS ikeja ,how is it done : one member payment covers all or individual payment for each member or there is special package for family

You guys keep saying don't forget.

But please, i need a detailed response.

*The questions again*
If you once applied for (lets say) visa like 4 years ago and got denied. Then now you applied for a uk visa but didn't mention your visa denial from because you felt, the denial is not from uk...
Are you still in line? or you have to mention.
And how do this ECOs find out your past visa denials.

but the question on the application forms says very clearly have you been denied visa to any country and not have you neen denied visa to the UK.
Meaning here is your opportunity to show integrity and answer the question before we go fact finding.
So you choose to conceal your past refusal not because you forgot but because you wanted to play smart.

If/when they cross reference your details on other immigration systems they find out because you have submitted your biometrics ie finger prints and your details somewhere in the past and not just to the UK. Once again, you did not forget.. you chose to conceal information and should be ready to bear the brunt if/when the wind blows the wrong way.

My mate said the same thing. Declare anything and everything. They all share data, and the questions they ask is to see if you would lie or not.

Just because someone gets denied a visa in the past or in a different country doesn’t mean they would deny you in your recent application. They decide everything on its own merit. I think more people need to have a clean minded thinking when putting in applications.

No point in concealing..
